Anyone watching Sons Of Anarchy s5? If not, get involved, sh!t be heating up!!

Just finished watching Southlands s1-4, reminds me of a watered down version of The Shield. I find the one liners by the narrator totally pointless and that 'freeze frame' thing annoying too.

Breaking Bad is on another level completely, second half of s5 next summer

I don't mind Boardwalk Empire, frustratingly slow in parts but I have a feeling s3 is going to get messy.

I'm going to start Hell on Wheels.

I'm also going to get involved with a few recommneded shows mentioned in this thread, such as; Burn Notice, Dexter, GOT and Spartacus

The Shield
Heroes
Southlands

Have you seen the Sopranos? If you enjoyed The Wire and BE, you'll love it. And I would check out Dexter before the others listed.

What are the best thriller type shows? Something engaging etc. Like CSI or something, where a group of people have to solve murders etc.

Have you checked out True Blood? Never seen it personally but I've heard good things.

I've seen both true Blood and Vampire Diaries. very different shows.

Vampire diaries is fast paced, entertaining and all but its too girlish and simple.

True Blood is dirty, darker and there is a lot of nudity. Overall better show than vampire Diaries.

New season of Dexter and Person Of Interest will start soon and both are great shows.

Watched the first episode of Elementary this morning. Not a bad show. Jon Lee Miller's a rubbish Sherlock, but Lucy Liu is pretty understated and looked great as Watson.

Also started Alphas, which looks formulaic along the lines of Heroes, Warehouse 13 and other sci-fi shows like that, but it's pretty good thus far.

Still watching Hell on Wheels. 2nd season is just as good as the first, but i'm reluctant to call it better.

Vampire Diaries is definitely a girl-tv serie

And I gotta say that I didnt find The Wire to be that good (only seen the first season)

I dont really watch that many series but I liked The Walking Dead and Game of thrones (season 1). One of my all time fav is OZ HBO did a great job with that one (atleast the first 4 seasons)

Just finished watching the premier of new show Last Resort. Looks good so far, a bit far fetched but if it get more viewers i think it will be good,

I have watched till the end of season 4. People are telling me that it is not worth watching after that. What do you think?

Not worth watching? I thought all seasons were fantastic bar season 5 which was just a little above average imo. Season 6 is definitely brilliant, especially with the way it ended.

I agree mate. Prison Break was/is THE GOAT. I think you might like 24 though. Jack Bauer is intelligent(although not Scofield intelligent) and uses it in tracking down terrorists.
