@Mole - Seinfeld's always going to be culturally relevant, for a long time, so don't worry about being behind. "Shrinkage" anyone ?
Also, you should know that Kramer has a different entrance in every episode. Some Seinfeld lore for you
You can also find a Superman figurine in every single episode. Usually Jerrys apartment.
No. Fking. Way.
That's amazing. Can't believe I never knew that
I really wouldn't mind watching Seinfeld all over again, if there was some way to mute out the laugh track. I find it monumentally hard to take laugh tracks seriously these days, even for the sake of old TV shows. Which is why "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" is so awesome . It's "Seinfeld" on crack

I know what you mean. Seinfeld is really the only show I can put up with the laugh track on.

IMO it's the best comedy currently on TV.
Re: The TV Series Thread
:lol!:
"The Implication" and the "D.E.N.N.I.S" methods immediately stand out whenever I think about the show. Green Man and The Mysterious Poop are worthy of mention as well.
Also, that one episode where Mac finds out he was the only one not molested in school, and he goes on a mission to seduce his old gym teacher. That's comedy gold in a synopsis right there
@Mole - Y u pay for tv shows ? Streaming not a viable option in the UK ?

Haha, yeah. That one was great. I think the teacher was Dennis Haskins the guy who played the principal(Mr. Belding) on Saved By The Bell, IIRC.
All the seasons of IASIP are awesome, but IMO it became an absolutely great show once Danny Devito joined.

Just finished season one Wilfred, highly recommended, seems like nobody watched it. Surreal and sometimes absurd about a man who talked to a dog to get through his psychological & emotional problems. Fans of dark comedy will love it.

Re: The TV Series Thread
Yeah Wilfred's not a bad show at all. Also, the Kenny Powers episode was pretty fking funny . My favorite part was " we're parents ! suck our dicks ! "
Felt good to see Kenny Powers back..and even his new friend isn't bad either ( notice Kenny always needs a sidekick in every season ? ) The last part where April pulls a Kenny paves way for an awesome plot. Now all we need is for Stevie Janowski to return..and I'm certain he will

Yeah I was wondering where Stevie was, lol. And yeah that Shane dude is good so far. Jason Sudeikis is usually pretty funny. He was good in Horrible Bosses, and also was in an ep of Always Sunny.
Re: The TV Series Thread
^^ Episiode 2 of EB&D was damn good I thought. Stevie is back, I lol'd at the sh1t Ashley Schaeffer was having him do. And Will Ferrell killed his part as Ashley Schaeffer, again. He might even have been funnier in this episode than he was in the 1st season.
Re: The TV Series Thread
Currently re-watching John Doe on Hulu... very underrated series, much like so many other Sci-Fi (and sci-fi) series. Dresden Files, FarScape, Firefly, etc

for fans of Wilfred there is an Australian version.
Stars the same guy playing Wilfred. Apparently its allot darker than the yank version.

Re: The TV Series Thread
Halfway through season 10 of Smallville and..............jesus christ did they give up because it was the last series? I love Smallville intensely and it breaks my heart to s[eak ill of it but so far, the episodes are disjointed and random, the plots are really weak and farfetched and i can't seem to get into any of the episodes
What the hell happened!?

Re: The TV Series Thread
Is Supernatural or Smallville worth watching?
I've seen episodes in both Smallville and Supernatural her and there but never watch it in chronological order, or a series.
how good are these two shows?
btw I consider Lost the best of all time just to give you an idea of what I think is a great show.

Leverage
In my opinion this show is very well put together and I've been a fan since the beginning.

Smallville....honestly..I watched it as a kid...when it just just came out and it was by some distance my favourite show.
But I have doub'ts.....didn't watch the last 4 or so seasons because they were boring as shit.
I can vouch for the first 3-4 seasons....they were great(From a kids perspecitve).K
Kristin Kreuk is also an underrated beauty.
Supernatural is a great show....
Neither are similar to Lost tho.
