Pretty much this but I would add Silva instead of Dante.

lol at shweini in the line up. He had a meh game in the final and Gundagon and Martinez both clearly has been better than him in the whole tournament.
You have no say in this matter after putting Varane in your team.
and Varane was bad in the CL? he was the only one carrying our defense.
Varane was at fault for numerous goals against Gala and was also at fault for the goal you conceded at OT.
Stop acting like he's been faultless and shifting blame to others.
Not to mention he hardly looked brilliant in both legs against Dortmund.
No one who isn't a Madrid fan would even consider Varane and rightly so.

Were Subotic/Chiellini/Silva/a CB in place of Varane completely faultless in this seasons CL?

Schweinsteiger had an amazing season in the CL , probably the best of his career. Not sure how much of Bayern you have seen before the final , you wouldn't say that .
The lol part goes for those who didn't include him actualy . If there's one player that will be in the real CL team of the tournament , this is Schweinsteiger.

I'm more surprised at how many here left out Robben who's arguably CL best attacker in last couple of CL macthes (which also happened to be the most important ones) yet included much less relevant players in the front 4.

Yeah but Adit you can't be excluding Cheillini based on early exit while including Varane who probably played same amount of games.

Weidenfeller
Pisczek-Silva-Hummels-Alaba
Gündogan-Javi
Müller-Reus-Ronaldo
Lewandowski
Manager: Jürgen Klopp
Honorable Mentions: BÅ‚aszczykowski, Subotic, Dante, Vidal, Cheillini, Busquets
Weide was increasingly obvious.
Pisczek even more as not a single right-back even came close to his performances in all aspects. Silva was absolutely perfect throughout the CL and is in their just for his perfection alone. Hummels? I would have put Subotic yet Hummels' importance in attack to Dortmund's contribution edged it for me despite him being an utter clown in some games earlier and the final. Alaba obvious as no other Left-Back really stood out.
Ilkay for his domineering performances in central midfield and Javi epitomizes Osram's tactics and justifying that he CAN perform when Jupp built the midfield entirely around him.
I would have picked Osram as manager out of bias for him yet Klopp went against the odds with his shallow depth, inexperienced squads and gave us a fantastic tournament in even dominating Bayern in the final.
Boring topic so I don't have much else to say.

Anyone who doesn't put Schweinsteiger in their line up I can't take seriously after the season he's had. They must not have watched any games at all. He's Bayern's most important player. Javi Martinez and Gundogan in the line up ahead of him.

The midfield is not built around Javi Martinez.

All season? Last time I checked this was the UCL team of the tournament, not Bundesliga.
And when it came to the UCL, Javi and Guendogan were far more influential than Schweinsteiger who thought running and running and running would earn him a Team of the tournament spot.
If you think Schweini should be ahead of those two then you should be apple bobbing in a barrel of electric eels with Steve-O and the wildboys.

Once again you bring up points without any justification.
Lets look at the Barca game, Javi Martinez their single most important player in defence and even contributed more in attack than Schweini. Both legs.
Final was even easier as Schweinsteiger was nowhere to be seen but being dominated by Dortmund's midfield while Javi was crucial in shoring up the midfield and distributing around the wide areas. What was Schweini doing? Running without much product.
Same thing within the Juve tie though at least Schweinsteiger did SOMETHING within that tie.
Bring me a tangible piece of proof of how Piggy was more important than I'll sober up.
Until then you need join your clan of moonbats who think Schweini was as close to important as the rest of the Bayern team.

Andrea Barzagli
lol at the lack of Vidal the best tackler in UCL and one of the best if not the best box to box players

FFS Juve fans. Gundogan and Martinez were both outstanding and one of the most vital players of their respective teams that went all the way to the final. That's why they are picked over Vidal. inb4besttacklingstats

Hate? According to me, Vidal has been best midfielder in Serie A this season and probably best player too but in the Champions League Martinez, Gundogan and Schweinstniger has been better than him. I also put Chiellini over Dante, Hummels and Subotic. Putting a 3 man midfield will mean sacrificing Reus, Muller/Robben etc who all deserve their place over Vidal. So it's not a 'joke' that Vidal is being overlooked. Only Juventus fans are thinking it's a joke, so yeah, we are all jokes but you all are harbingers of truth and football.
