moutinho wrote:I hate reading these "the way football is meant to be played" nonsense. The beauty of football is that it can be played in many ways, sometimes in antonym terms, and nobody can say which is the best way because teams have won glory using completely different tactics. Football evolves and something that might work today against team X may not, and will not work against it in 5-10 years.

He doesn't actually believe that.

Fair play, I'm just exhausted of the common idea that there is one way to play football. And the 'way' differs completely if you ask Tony Pullis or Guardiola

Re: UEFA U21 European Championships (Israel, June 5th - June 18th)
Oh no in general I agree.
A lot of people ridicule Catenaccio by calling it 'bus parking'
There are plenty of ways to 'play football'
The only style I hate it hoofing the ball without having any real objective. Although, if you get results with it then fair play. At the end of the day if I was managing a big, physical team I couldn't care less how 'stylish' my football was.
Results come first.

Moutinho, you will experience many posts here which are merely a product of a near family oriented aura that GoalLegacy have come to become. We are like brothers here. Tomwin above me is actually my father.
We welcome you with open arms and hope you never leave. Welcome my friend.

Pressures, wins the ball, pulls off a few moves to beat his man, has the vision, placement and power to precisely direct his long ball towards the winger.
Haters gonna hate.

Orjan Nylan. The kid just transferred to Molde FK in January this year, and even though originally Espen Bugge Pettersen was the Nr.1 and Ole Söderberg was considered the Nr.2 at Molde, Orjan Nylan took over after the 6th matchday and never left the place between the sticks since.barca 2011 wrote:Btw Norway's keeper, who is he? The defense held up a lot better than most people thought it would, with a little luck as well. It was a gritty performance, and we'll obviously need more of that grit on Tuesday.

Re: UEFA U21 European Championships (Israel, June 5th - June 18th)
Depends on where they play. Deeper in midfield Thiago is better as he can pace the game better and distribute the ball but closer to goal is where Isco's play comes to life. He is technically outstanding and has an eye for goal. He is only 20Rebaño Sagrado wrote:Who do you guys think is the bigger talent I$co or Thiago?
