Officially confirmed: Mario Götze is joining Bayern Munich next season

Götze would be totally lost.

If you pay attention Pep last season introduced 3-4-3 to have an extra man upfront on Messi's side. Be it Fabregas as a "false 10" behind Messi or Sanchez as a proper 9 infront of Messi. Pep acknowledged that 4-3-3 false 9 has been found out. In the past few weeks (since Milan) Tito also reverted back to the asymmetrical 4-3-3 where the leftback stays back and Alves practically plays as a winger on his own so that Villa can play centrally.

With all this in mind it seems highly unlikely to me that Pep would now go and try to emulate the Barcelona from 2010 which he himself tried to change and evolve.

Bayern is already too strong for BVB. Signing Götze won't make an already strong team much stronger, at least, short term.
On the other hand, Dortmund will get 37 mio Götze money+40 mio CL money+ 20-30mio Lewandowski money. Yeah, Klopp will have a war chest of almost 100mio € at his disposal next summer.
Possible investations: Isco+Dzeko. They could sign a backup CB and another right winger/backup forward and still have a surplus of money. Bundesliga would get more interesting with Bayern and BVB having new players with new tactics and challenges.

Bayern on the other hand will bench one of their first teamers for Götze. You can't play more than 11 players no matter how good they are.

All in all, it's good for Bundesliga big time. People who rant here with their outdated romantism in footy don't know shit.

LOL do people actually believe City offered Götze 20m Eruros a year?

I know it is easy to believe these kinda shit when it comes to rich clubs like Chelsea, City, etc. But people should use their head, think about it 20m euro is more then what two of the best footballers in the world makes CR7 and Messi. Also what would make Götze so attractive to City? he is a great talent but to make him such madness deal is not, considering there are arguably equal talents like Isco for example imo.

Bayern Munich values Götze much more then any other club. The Germans think way much more of Götze then outsiders, they consider him once in a generation talent. Bayern have been known to want the best German players, as recently going after Neuer from their rival Schalke. So only natural for them to pursue Götze and entice him by paying him 10m+ Euro a year.
