Bayern seems to be activating the release clause in Goetze's contract - so it's really not on BVB - it's up to Gotze to decide whether or not he wants to leave. I'm not inclined to believe this, the timing is too poor. I don't want to think Gotze is stupid enough to make an agreement like this at such a pivotal point in the season.

Just wait until the summer.

That in itself is down to them. They had to re-negotiate Gotze's contract up to 5 million dollar wages, why leave a release clause in there when they had the opportunity to remove it?

Putting a release clause into the contracts of young players is just stupid. Milan paid for it when we offered Bordeaux a loan with option to buy for Gorucuff. We never thought they would be able to cough up 15 million euros, but Galliani was wrong.

Dortmund's team is built on youth, if they all have release clauses, their team is worth substantially less than what we thought. Do they really think that they can sell a Sahin, Kagawa, Gotze or Lewandowski every transfer window and still be competitive?

Bayern didn't only buy gotze , they also bought the title. Seriously , Guardiola will have it quite easy in the league for his 1st year and the next to come. Where is the point of hiring him then ? Jupp would have done great too with so much talent as he is right now. with so much potential i believe Guardiola could stay at FCB for 4-5years at least

Why are you so sure he will use a false 9? I doubt he will.

Guardiola used false 9 because he had a freak in Messi who he needed to find the best position for. It worked with Barca, it doesn't mean Pep thinks it works everywhere...

I think its much more likely he tries to start the same way he started with Barca (Messi-Eto'o-Henry --> Gotze-Mandzukic-Ribery). He'll also do a lot of experiments to find who works best. Plenty of chances for guys like Muller.

And can't be serious suggesting Kroos will go. Likely Kroos is already in Pep's blueprint as his most important midfielder...

i have just read page after page of knee jerk responses 37 million for a club with dortmund's financial standing is a bucket load of money. Klopp is a very smart man im sure he will buy 3 or 4 goetze's for dortmund with the money. And they will become even better
