Are you kidding me? He's played there most of his career. Vertonghen was the LCB until last season and he was RCB. In fact he's also played RB on many occasions. If anything he's more comfortable on the right than on the left.

Word is kristof polgar has been offered a contract after a trial, never seen him play but i've heard the staff compare him to agger, another for our academy then.

We'd be idotic if we go for Iker Munianin. We already have a similiar player in Borini. We already have Sterling that will play there next season. We also have Coutinho. He can't lead a line... and we have no one on the right hand side.

(Not targeting you fahim. Just don't feel I.M is the right player to go for. )

Can sell Downing for around 10m too so that's atleast 25 million going into the transfer budget if rumours are to be correct. They're both on high wages also. We're finally fixing our mistakes...

Remy is a classy player. Wanted him before we got Carroll... he'd be real good here imo. We've been linked to him for a while now, according to reports anyway, I don't think we've ever submitted a bid though. I think most teams will wait for his court case now. He's alleged to rape someone just recently...

He is absolute class. He'll be massive for us. He could potentially cover Lucas too. He's everything I was looking at. Very similar to Sakho; ie leader, mentally strong, clearly better than everyone near his age group and will only get better.

@Messiah: I have no idea about how good or bad Tiago is so i hope you are spot on my friend.

@ynwa: now now let's not curse the move Really hope that goes through & with that money we buy Ben Arfa & that Macmannan dude from Wigan. I guess the rest of the transfer fees additional would cover for the Striker & CB. Again no idea about how Papadopoulos is so would love him here if he is as good as you say he is.

Well he is linked heavily with Manchester United. If so that is almost impossible.

the only reason I would like to see Papa at our club is because of his versatility as CB and DM, but he has mostly played as CB for schalke.He may be available for like 6-7mi euros, not sure though, just a guess.
He does lack pace, but still suits BR because of his passing, also BR can develope him as DM, his tacking is good, overall reading and aerial ability is quite brilliant I would say. He is developing at a fast rate.

He apparently has a release clause of 22m euros.

6-7m is way off.

yeah it seems he has such a clause in his contract, frracking cant beleive such a high amount.
fahim, actually i thought he was bought for so cheap like, 4-5mi, from olympiakos, wrong logic. If BR has in his mind to develop him as DM and a versatile player, it makes sense to buy him.
