Re: Realistic Shopping list for next season
“We’ve been in contact with Inter for some time” over Aleksandar Dragovic, confirmed Swiss side Basel.
“Inter have concrete interest in Dragovic,” Basel President Bernard Heusler told Basler Zeitung.

Damn, a defense of Dragovic, Rano and Jesus can be formidable

Re: Realistic Shopping list for next season
Is this guy any good? Dragovic?
Also there are reports that Morratti and Thohir reached an agreement, he'll take 40% and will provide funds immediately for the transfer market.
Don't know if it's true or not, I'm a bit sceptical

From what i have seen from Basel in the EL, he looked really good. Seemed very authoritative, likes to establish his dominance. He did make a few mistakes in some of the big games, though don't most defenders these days make some mistakes? At 22 i'm sure he still can improve along the way. Very good purchase if this is true

Re: Realistic Shopping list for next season
overall taking in account the players already signed i think we'll have a good transfer window for once. a large chunk of the dead weight problem could possibly be fixed with chivu and stank leaving (fingers crossed )and some of the realistic targets we are linked to can all be all considered very good signings. so as long as we go for the right players then i think this window will be good. our defense will certainly be exciting to watch as there's 2 or 3 new players who will have to be given games

Sounds exactly like the player we'd need after Samuel retires next season, thanks ES

No reason for Bradley to join us, Roma more likely to make the CL than we are atm

Re: Realistic Shopping list for next season
Inter apparently rejected Sunderland's offer for Mbaye. No news on Duncan but we probably rejected that offer as well
Cassano to Parma by thursday. Silvestre is expected to complete his move soon as well
After missing out on Nainggolan Inter are targetting 22-year-old Sao Paulo midfielder Wellington. He should cost something around 5m. No idea how good he is though
Rumors about our interest in Catania's Gomez have reemerged for some reason
We're also looking for a reliable CB, probably a starter.

Cassano is officially a parma player. Bilfodil's involvement in the deal is not yet clear though

Re: Realistic Shopping list for next season
The speculation surrounding Radja Nainggolan's future looks set to end, with reports claiming that the midfielder will join Inter.
The Gazzetta dello Sport have revealed today that the Belgium international met with Nerazzurri technical director Marco Branca in Sardinia on Sunday to negotiate a deal.
The Milan-based newspaper believe that the San Siro side have come to an agreement with the 25-year-old and will pay him €5m per season, plus bonuses.
Walter Mazzarri's men will offer Cagliari €8m for Nainggolan, plus co-ownership deals for Samuele Longo and Alfred Duncan.

Re: Realistic Shopping list for next season
I've heard it's a co-ownership for longo but a season long LOAN for Duncan... Co-ownership would be a BIG mistake

Re: Realistic Shopping list for next season
why would we loan duncan or whatever when we need a good central midfielder as a cover. we really make our youngsters hate inter

Re: Realistic Shopping list for next season
Exactly what I was thinking, but seeing as its Mazzarri and he was brought to fix inter now, I don't think he'll have the patience with Duncan... Real bummer

Re: Realistic Shopping list for next season
assuming we sign nainggolan, excluding players that are useless/i don't like, we have:eltractor wrote:why would we loan duncan or whatever when we need a good central midfielder as a cover. we really make our youngsters hate inter
Cambiasso
Nainggolan
Guarin
Kovacic
Obi
Benassi
Kuzmanovic
Mudingayi
just for Mazzarri's 3 central MF positions. imo the only smart move would be offloading kuzmanovic and replacing him with duncan. but even then a loan isn't that bad of an idea (as long as it's to sign naiggolan

Re: Realistic Shopping list for next season
Radja Nainggolan sounds like the type of player we need, as i read he's a defensive midfielder who can pick a pass and has box to box potential. Kinda like younger Combiasso. His father is Indonesian so he's marketable to the huge population of Inter fans in there.
