I love the Shield, all 3 of them have put in great matches.

I watched Ambrose a bit before the WWE, the man is fantastic at cutting Promos.

In-ring it's close but I think Reigns is great in the ring.

He's powerful but not massively bulked up, he's quick and he really gives his all.

Why all dat hate for National powerLIFTER Langston?

AbraKebabra Alacalamb wrote:Again, that would have been better.

Heyman is a heel, he benefits from having intimidating clients.

Big E is new on the scene, he's already a heel (I tend to think big powerhouses have to be 'heel' to some degree, they dominate opponents and use powerful, aggressive moves. Giant babyfaces tend to turn into a big joke such as Khali, Tensai/Albert etc etc) and Big E would get a great push under Heyman, he also has the power to compete with the main eventers.

Instead we have a fairly talented, fairly average bloke who's supposed to bring something to the table and be used with Heyman. I'm just not feeling it.

Sadly Big E is invested in Dolphs storyline for now.

The biggest missed opportunity of the whole idea, I'd reckon. The writers could've created an already visible rift between Dolph and Big E, seemingly as he's basically a massively built 3rd wheel of that stable. Paul Heyman could've been the slick-talking guy that got Big E out from Dolph's shadow and into his own spotlight, where he just starts wrecking dudes left and right until he eventually because a main-eventer.

Instead, we have what we saw on Monday.....amateurish writing from those guys, I tell ya.

Yeah putting Big E in as the enforcer type for Dolph was fine to get him into the picture. But he should really be splitting now.

You're spot on with the 3rd wheel comment.

He's an awkward 3rd wheel who escorts a couple to the ring and helps them pick up wins. Not much potential for him getting anywhere until he splits.

Obviously he's not going to swap roles with Champ Dolph in the group and be the lead man, so a split has to happen soon. I think with Heyman getting a new client and Dolph being out of action this was such a good opportunity to have him split. But meh, we all know eventually he'll turn on Dolph and attack him.

I just pray that he attacks him in a heel turn, we don't need another 300 Pound massively built babyface. It doesn't work. Unless you're aiming for more Brodus Clay/Tensai type things. (Pls no)

Agreed, he should think of wearing a bra as well.

Watched the last few Raw', and extreme rules. Super Cena eliminating everyone in the Shield Laughing

Really like the Shield especially Dean Ambrose, he should change his finisher though.

Seth Rollins seems pretty bad compared to back when he was in NXT.

Who do you guys think is the best in-ring performer from the Shield?

Also I ain't feeling Michael Mcgillicutty now known as Curtis Axel as Heyman's new client. Their has to be other guys out there as well hmm

I have to disagree with the dean ambrose finisher, that shit is *bleep* awesome ! Rollins hasnt been bad as well, he just doesnt get to showcase his skills since the spotlight is always on ambrose. As for Reigns, he's probably the weakest of the three, he's not bad but he's still a rough diamond (mic skills, ring movement and flow...) that said he posses that IT factor the WWE loves so he'll probably be the biggest of the three once he sorts out his weaknesses.

Heyman's new client has been a fail imo, no one is really buying this guy, but since he has the support of HHH (believe it or not) he will get pushed down our throats. Someone who could use the rub from heyman is Wade Barret, but since he doesnt exactly need a mouth piece then why not Cesaro ? Well im sure Heyman knows what he's doing, maybe he sees something in the guy that we dont

Problem is, Axel might not have been so hard to buy into if Heymans other Clients weren't CM Punk and Brock Lesnar.

The new client should have been somebody who could stand out more.

Depending on whether or not The Rock decides to return to wrestling, Brock Lesnar may return to WWE TV later this year to begin a feud with either Rock or The Undertaker.

It turns out that the spot on RAW a few weeks ago where Lesnar stopped and stared at a poster of The Rock wasn't scripted by WWE officials. Apparently that was Lesnar "going into business for himself."

While nobody knows if The Rock will return yet, Vince McMahon and others in the company feel that he will be feeling better this fall and agree to work WrestleMania XXX against Lesnar.

---------------------------------

Going into WWE Extreme Rules, there had been talk of doing something with a gimmicked ring in either the Strap Match or the Steel Cage Match.

This was brought up in a meeting the week before the pay-per-view. Presumably, the idea was nixed when they decided to go with the breakaway wall gimmick for the finish of the Ryback vs. John Cena match.

-----------------------------

The current plan is for Randy Orton vs. Sheamus to be a featured match at this year's SummerSlam pay-per-view, meaning one of them would have to turn heel soon. Orton has been rumored to turn heel for about a year now.

----------------------------

It appears Brock Lesnar has been written off WWE TV for the time being. Paul Heyman noted on RAW last night that Lesnar has fulfilled his obligations to WWE. Lesnar is expected to be back in time for SummerSlam.

Mark Henry may be returning as a babyface. As seen on the Extreme Rules post-show, Henry left the trainers room and said he was going home. There has been some talk for months about turning Henry face.

At Sunday's pay-per-view, Vince McMahon was being very secretive, to even the WWE producers, about where he wanted to go with the Ryback and John Cena angle.

Henry is 100x better as a heel.

Yes let's make a 400 pound strongman who's spent the last couple of years jumping and hurting people into a nice fan favourite who will undoubtedly get booked to lose to main event heels.

I'd love mark henry either way Proud

I would love a Lesnar vs Rock match. Heyman vs Rock promos will be gold.

Orton turning heel needs to be done asap. Agreed there

Orton turning heel vs Sheamus on Smackdown wouldn't really be ideal. It'd have to be in a major RAW storyline against Cena/someone big.

We noted before that the plan for the Triple H concussion storyline was for Stephanie McMahon, Vince McMahon, and possibly their children, to eventually appear on RAW and talk Triple H out of wrestling again.

Another source told The Wrestling Observer that several different ideas are being discussed and nothing is certain yet.

There is said to be no laid out program for Brock Lesnar now that the feud with Triple H is over. Some people in the know within WWE are strongly speculating that WWE goes with a babyface CM Punk vs. Lesnar much sooner than later, with the idea of Heyman turning on Punk.

They could have done better than a small match like that. Maybe have him suddenly come back without anyone knowing or hype his return better.
