WWE officials have very big plans for Daniel Bryan this summer. Right now, Bryan vs. WWE Champion John Cena is the penciled in main event for the July 14th Money in the Bank pay-per-view from Philadelphia.

Word is that it will be a babyface vs. babyface match. WWE officials are fully aware that Bryan will be heavily cheered in Philadelphia. The feeling is that officials won't try to turn Bryan heel but that may change.

The result? I won't mind either. Bryan winning it will blow the roof off, and Orton can turn heel to start a Bran vs Orton feud which will be new.

If Cena retains, then Lesnar should feud with him for the title.

why are people discussing breaking up the shield already ? they're the only good thing that is going on for the company along with Bryan and they are far from reaching their prime as a group. Give them a main eventer and you'll squeeze another year or two out of them

This past weekend, WWE officials discussed doing Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns vs. Kane and The Undertaker at August's SummerSlam pay-per-view. If Taker doesn't want to do the match, then it will likely be The Shield vs. Randy Orton and Sheamus.

Other matches being discussed for SummerSlam include John Cena vs. Daniel Bryan for the WWE Title, Big E Langston vs. either Big Show or Mark Henry and Rey Mysterio vs. Dean Ambrose, if Rey is able to perform then.

Orton vs. Ryback and Mysterio vs. Jack Swagger also have been discussed for this summer.

As of this week, Ryback is not scheduled to win the WWE Title from John Cena at Sunday's Payback pay-per-view. The whole idea behind the Three Stages of Hell match is that it will be used as a vehicle to get Cena over big for the summer.

The Payback card was changed over the weekend. WWE announced Randy Orton and Daniel Bryan vs. Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns on RAW but as of last Saturday, the plan was to do a Bryan vs. Orton singles match.

At last word, Bryan is still scheduled to be part of the WWE Title picture in July and August of this year.

On a related note, it's possible we see two heels turns at Payback, one with Bryan and the other with Chris Jericho.

According to a source, the McMahon family is said to be happy with their current angle and feel that it is compelling television that plays off of reality. The storyline is expected to continue for the foreseeable future.

The USA Network actually wanted the McMahon family to be featured prominently again, and Vince and Stephanie both felt that the timing was right since it has been years since they've been recurring characters on TV. 

Stephanie in particular was open to returning to a televised role throughout the summer since her children are on summer vacation, which allows her to take them on the road along with her maid and assistants.

In a related note, writers apparently checked with Vince during rehearsals about the backstage segment on RAW this past Monday night to confirm that he wanted to tell Triple H that he was "bigger than a match with Curtis Axel." 

Vince was said to be insistent that the wording be what was shown on the air, which was similar to language on last week's episode knocking Joe Hennig as a top star.

This Curtis Axel push is one big joke, not only Triple H and the McMahons keep burying him at every opportunity but he also gets ZERO attention/credit for his "victories". It seems like he more he wins the less important he becomes so im not sure if the WWE is going for the invisible man gimmick or something..

Axel is crap.The Boywonder would be better on the mic than him ffs.It's also really annoying when he keeps spouting nonsense when hitting his opponent.

Wwe clearly don't have the balls to make the main eventer lose clean.

And Axel is only fighting main eventers, one of which happens to be heading to a Promo. They focus on building wrestlers momentum up before a main event, which means nobody gets a 100% clean victory over them. The only person they've let Axel beat without any help is Sin Cara

Axel needs more promo time. It's alright if Heyman speaks for Lesnar since he's a monster, but Axel's just a generic guy.

Well if Heyman speaks for him, then there'd be no point of Axel being there imo. It's alright for Lesnar, because he's just a beast, but not for a normal guy like Axel.

It's ok to speak for Original Kane, Undertaker, Big Daddy V, Lesnar etc.

They're monster heels. They're the muscle behind the Heymann types who are the sneaky heels who hide behind them and direct them.

Can't have your standard, ok built, average guy hiding behind his manager.

Punk really didn't need Heyman either, however they split the promo time in a compatible way. Same could be done for Axel.
