Yeah Neymar finally got a yellow and made about 6 fouls after that Laughing

On one hand they're trying to kill the art of defending, on the other hand, they let Neymar commit more fouls in one game than Vidal makes in two Laughing

He was too aggressive at times and did get decisions for very little i will admit that.

But this isn't anything new, Ronaldinho made a career out of it Laughing

Unless you're going to sit here and analyze every foul for both teams and pinpoint what is a foul and not.

Agreed these things happen sometimes.... what injured Abate was the way he impacted the ground had sod all to do with the challenge.

People complain that the game is too soft.... but when a normal challenge is made a player injures himself through an awkward landing and that is all it was you want him sent off Laughing

With acts like this game becomes a non-contact sport.

I think the Abate injury was just bad luck. The challenge itsself was a yellow card.

The fact he can make so many fouls, and not get sent off compared to Balotelli or just about any CB in the world who make a few fouls and see red is disgraceful.

Can you imagine the reaction in a big game if somebody like Chiellini or Ramos or whatever got away with so many fouls?

But because it's a flashy attacker he can pretty much do what he likes.

And yeah I think the game is too soft. But what makes it worse is a completely different set of rules apply to some attackers.

If you're going to let Neymar jump into people 10 times a game with little or no intention of getting the ball, then the defenders deserve to have that equal treatment.

I love Neymar and think he deserves all the credit instilled onto him, yet yesterday was a disgraceful display of sportsmanship. Not only he dived continually but the attempts within those actions were downright embarrassing.

Looks a talent and no doubt will excel in La Liga, Europe is a different kettle of fish with stronger players and tighter marking, this is where we will see if he's really world class or just another pretender.

All signs are he's got potential to be special but you can never be 100% with Brazilian players as we've had so many false dawns it's untrue.
