I mean if you thought he was going to be as good as Messi and Ronaldo then you don't really respect either player or can't comprehend how good Messi or Ronaldo are.

You might not see anyone approaching there status or goal tallies for the next 25 years, I don't know why Neymar has to be a failure if he's not as good as Messi or Ronaldo. I pretty much thought that was a given.

Didnt know that much about the guy a year ago. Got scared when looking at youtube videos when Barca had to face him at the worldcup. Ten minutes in the game the fear was completey gone. Didnt stand a chance against a decent European defense. Really hope we dont buy him.

Agreed with Dmac, we keep on expecting every youngster to reach Messi or Ronaldo level but that's unrealistic and only a few lads will manage it in the next 10 years.

If the best of Neymar is indeed something like Robben when he was peaking, then it's pretty good. If i recall he reached two CL finals, played a WC final etc... And Bale has not reached Robben's level yet (when he is good that is) lol

Neymar can become as good as Kaka was when he was best player in europe, it's still a very high level, not goat like but still fantastic.

Can't believe I am saying this but I have to agree with Izzy on this one.

CR is a nt flop.RVP is a NT flop.The list goes on, people take these performances so seriously its unbelievable.

Also, as i said many times, in gl players are either shet or world class,there is no middle way through. "Neymar sucks"

Perhaps but its still a fact.... and yes he is better than CR was at that age...

CR was a nobody at 21, you can argue Messi if you want but he was still piss poor for Argentina.

I know just saying.... he clearly isn't a scrub or overrated.

People have to stop expecting him to be Messi at 21 surrounded by scrubs and expect him to GOAT every time.

His international performances are still miles better than so many of the players people wank over.

It just makes you look stupid when he does start GOATing and he will.

I dont see this guy 'GOATing' in the future. He is a good player, for sure, but has yet to show this against a decent defense - he has flopped against all thus far. I hope to see him in Europe soon, we can see how great he really is.
