PS Those sigs are annoying.
just disable signatures if it pains you so much. Jiosipi just having a bad sulk over a terribly played game in which his team lost. Give it time...

Scroll up to the top and you should see an icon called Toogle Signatures on the far right of the forum links to General Football Section.

Bakagol. Allegris secret weapon, not suppose to be shown to the world until Camp Nou. Too bad Bakaye would have none of that benchin at the San Siro.
Muntari and Ambrosini?
100 % tactical brilliance in the middle of the park as instructed by Mad Max. All played well and its hard to point fingers here. Was glad to see Constant keeping his fine form. To think we doubted you after a few appearences? Carlo Garganese was extremele hard on Constant before the game, saying he was a scrub. Also, Abate deserves some praise for bossing the right side as usual. How can one stop the Godbate? By selling him to some russian club? Insanity!
Some people spoke of Sharaawy and him putting in an average performance? He is turning into a Rooney or Cavani for us, being all over the pitch, hoovering over the San Siro. His endurance can not be underestimated, and his assist was superb. He is 20 years old ffs.
What an electric night we had Milanisti. I had to work out right after the game, as I was shaking all over! These are the moments in life we live for, may there be many more!

Harmonica wrote:It's Alba, not Messi, but you're right it should be a Milan freekick, if it was a Alba handball. But it doesn't allow yourself to handle the ball and affect the game. If heading ball onto your own arm and passing it to your team mate isn't a handball, then there is no handball in football. Without handling it probably would have bounced back to Alba.
Because playing the advantage is some sort of revolutionary concept in football

Harmonica as much as you moan, The ball from the free kick hit Biscuits in his arm and then hit Muntari so you can't argue

No spoilers, I'm watching it now.
As if I could avoid hearing about this result. Barcelona, second best team in the world....

So you can make a foul after a foul if advantage is played?Le Samourai wrote:Harmonica wrote:It's Alba, not Messi, but you're right it should be a Milan freekick, if it was a Alba handball. I was addressing the first point. It's been pretty well established that Zapata's actions did not constitute an offense.

Like I said before, if Messi chokes, so will Barca Barca are only the best team in the world when Messi wants to
Not sure how Messi chocked. He was tripled teamed and Iniesta and Pedro next to him were doing nothing. 1 man can only do so much. Fact is we werent as hungry as they were and imo we have been on a decline since Roura took over for Tito.
Hats off to Milan, you guys deserve this. Nothing but respect
Also love being a culé, so many consecutive years of at least reaching the semi's is something to respect and not take for granted. We will be back next year stronger than ever! Good luck to Milan (Yes, I am speaking in a sense that I honestly don't see us coming back. All Milan has to do is park the bus at the Nou and it's game over)

Re: AC Milan vs FC Barcelona - aftermath
I didn't read everything posted, I was trying to avoid the result and watch the game after work. I really couldn't!!! I tried everything to keep my mind off it but I finally caved. I opened up a live ticker and wow, I was jumping up and down at work What an amazing feeling. I am speechless. I want to celebrate this with all my Milan brothers here at GL. Feels so good and I won't forget this victory for a LONG time, regardless of the result in Camp Nou. Thanks for SOME of the Barca supporters who congratulated us, the other moaning... seriously STFU and accept the loss

Guti, quality bandwaggoner imo
You Madrid fans shouldn't start jumping up and down in joy just yet....you could just as easily get knocked out by us and Man U in a few weeks. Don't count your chickens before they hatch. Win or not, our run in the Champions League these past 5 years has been a marvel and I am completely proud of it. Haters keep hating, we will be back

Messi was kept quiet mate. Was dispossed on a number of occasions and only had one touch in Milan's penalty box. He also had zero shots on target. That's a poor performance if I've ever seen one. His team mates didn't help for sure but that doesn't somehow change the facts of the match itself.

Guti is a quality personality period.
I'm not counting my chickens I know we could get knocked out in a couple of days but it would have been to two quality sides, I can live with that. You guys lost to a team that a lot of people felt would get hammered and now have one foot out of the CL even though you have all the tools needed to win it this year.
Anyway despite the fact that getting knocked out is a very real possibility I like our chances against Barca (who we know very well) and United (who we will get scoring chances against). Both are great teams for sure but their defence doesn't scare me at all, we're more than capable of scoring a couple of away goals against both.
