So I know there's a trade up if you have current gen FIFA 14 for next gen.

And I'm also aware that there is a transfer between current generation and next-generation..... Will that also transfer my virtual pro?

What team to be first in career mode?

I think I'll go with a midtable club with the most money. Going with the best clubs is usually boring and going with a lower club will possibly be a challenge for later on.

Yh if you go to a big club first you have nowhere to go but down

I'll have 1 save where I start at a tiny club and work up, taking any improved job offers along the way

1 where I try to take a small club all the way up and stick with them

And then a Juve save


Advice from me, make sure you play on a hard (for you) difficulty. It makes me laugh when ppl go as somebody like Fullham, buy a shit striker then brag because their shit striker goes on to score like 35 goals. Winning every game 6-2.

You can't fkn enjoy that surely?

And when you find a realistic difficulty, up it by 1 in the CL knockout rounds or whatever.

I'd say the best thing to do with transfers is have a salary cap depending on the club to prevent really ridiculous transfers but allow the likes of Ozil to Arsenal to happen.

Its not the transfer fees which is the problem, most clubs have money but Southampton are not going to pay 100k in real life.

I usually go with the highest difficulty on each setting. But there's that setting where you barely get any money for selling. So I usually never sell any players, just use them as exchanges in deals.

Or you could maybe ask the chairman/owner to buy you a player, similar to FM and it doesn't count from your budget.

Or maybe there could be a meeting or something where you negotiate your budget.

Not really sure about this scouting thing. You can't actually watch the player like in real life, nor can you try him out. You have to rely on stats.

It seems fairly pointless, because after scouting for a while you're going to get to see the stats anyway.

The only positive is you have something extra to do on career mode, even though it's kinda pointless.

Yeah it seems like an extremely long-winded way of like it is now, where all you do is find the player, press R3 and see his 100% accurate stats.

They need a feature where you can actually try a player out in an arena before bidding. Stats sometimes don't tell the whole story.

Or you could maybe go into a match with your scout and watch the player in action.

This new scouting feature may not work, because people could just go into other game modes and check the players stats.

Nah it will work because players stats change (Sometimes a LOT) on career mode

But my issue is they've taken something simple (Players actual in-game stats) made it more complex (Only giving you rough stats until you continually scout them) and repackaged it into something 'new' (Scouting system)

They change, but you could just check the stats in another game mode and add like 2-3 ratings onto each individual stat.

EA I suggest you watch Juve games and stop just handing out high ratings to players who happen to play for clubs who have deals with.

Don't know about the new one but Vidal is 89 on PES

My comment is currently the top comment on that global scouting youtube video.

I know they have 'scouts' who allegedly go to games. But I also know they signed a deal with Barca and tend to massively overrate la liga and some teams in the Prem

Also, Santi is better than Vidal on this game. It makes me sick. Ibra the most complete striker there is (Which should mean a high overall on FIFA) is rated lower than Falcao. A poacher who excells in a few departments and hasn't even kicked a ball in the fkn CL.

How is Augero 88??? he had a poor season last year... he has a better rating than Cavani and Lewan

Obviously its going to get better and look better as the years go by and they begin to discover more ways to maximize the abilities of the next gen consoles. Surely you didn't expect a huge gulf in difference already, did you?
