Career mode ideas:

Being able to bid for players before July.

Test a player out in arena prior to buying him.

Calling up players from Castilla/Barca B, if you're playing as Real Madrid/Barca, instead of having to buy them.

Youth squads/reserve squads.

Teams should play like they do in real life, so realistic CPU.

Choosing optional pre season fixtures/tour - e.g. U.S. tour, Emirates Cup etc.

Career mode financial strictness, transfer frequency, wages etc - a 'realistic' setting.

Training sessions.

Being able to edit kits every season.

Buyout clauses/buy back clauses/other clauses/addons.

Old players shouldn't always decline after 30.

Being able to watch players play when scouting them.

Players should flop and their ratings should decrease.

Players values should be higher and transfer budgets should be bigger. Maybe a feature to ask the chairman to buy you a player and it wouldn't count from your budget.

More in depth manager relationship with the board.

Player presentations and better press conferences.

Being able to use career mode team in online friendly matches.

Why would you want to watch a player in a game being controlled by a CPU, before buying him? Laughing

Sometimes stats don't tell really tell the whole story. Watching the player play is realistic and you can see how he plays. Although yeh, with the CPU controlling him, it might not be that accurate.

Either that you should be able test a player out in an arena before bidding.

It's a computer game, it's nothing but mathematics, stats do tell the whole story if you just look at them long enough.

Testing them out in a practise setting would be better.. On a high enough difficulty, every CPU plays like a world class player (not misplacing passes etc) so you wouldn't be learnig anything.. Not to mention they don't play like their real life counterparts, they all play the same for the most part

I wonder if the 2v2 seasons will allow 1 person to be any and the other person to be one player, instead of 2 people controlling every player.

Its EA, its what they do.

You don't notice a drastic difference in Fifa games unless you buy one every 3 years lol.

Expecting changes from a Fifa game is almost as laughable as people who ask for changes from a CoD game.

It's better when you can control every player, like 2v2 in house games.. What FIFA games are all about :coffee:

I don't see what's wrong with Bale being ranked 17th on FIFA. He's not the 3rd best player in the World anyway. Overrated.

Best deal for FIFA 14: http://www.gamestop.co.uk/FIFATrade

If you don't have any of the games on the list, get the cheapest ones off ebay. Probably around £15 max for 2 games. So around £21 altogether for FIFA 14.

Then there's a deal for next gen FIFA 14 by GAME, where you give your FIFA 14 current gen in and pay £10 to get next gen. So you're getting £40 for a game you paid £21 for.

Gamestop over here has a deal where you trade 2 games on a list and get any new game for $9.99.. Which is essentially getting $25 for each game since new games are $59.99..

FIFA 13 and NBA 2K13 were on the list so I went in to trade them but was told the trade and getting the new game has to be on the same transaction, you can't trade the 2 games and put the money towards a pre-order.. Not to mention games on the list change periodically and I knew for sure FIFA 13 would be taken off the list by the time FIFA 14 came out.. So what did I do?

I traded both games for Madden 25 (which just came out) and paid the $9.99 difference, and came back a few days later and returned it then put the $59.99 towards pre-ordering FIFA 13

In terms of ratings, I think Pique should go down 1 from 86 to 85. Same with Ramos, 86 to 85.

Vidal should go up from 85 to 86. Suarez should go up from 86 to 87.

Rooney down one from 87 to 86.

Tevez down 2 from 86 to 84.

Vidic down one from 87 to 86.
