Any other ideas for career mode features alongside training? Basically things you could do in between games?

Maybe with the next gen consoles coming out there could be press conferences where you can speak instead of selecting the default text dialogues?

Player Interactions, preff conferences, more Media (Not just the same 5 articles appearing in different circumstances)

Build-up to games etc.

But there's only so much they can add. Career mode can't last more than a few months. Because it's essentially a massively sped up version of what we all watch. And it gets repetitive, no matter what.

New sponsors and kits every year would help massively I guess.

They could maybe even get rid of the career mode layout and instead have a stadium where you walk through.

Like for transfers you'd go to the transfer guys office and talk to him about who you want.

For scouting you'd go to a scouts room in the stadium.

Once a match has finished you'd walk to the dressing room and talk to your players etc. Then do whatever and head off in a car.

Something like season mode from old WWE games?

Yeah would be good if they pulled it off without it being too time consuming. I remember the old WWE locker room layouts.

Its not wise to expect too much from FIFA 14. Its just the edition that ushers in the next-gen consoles. Wait till FIFA 15 if you're expecting any major changes. You won't find any major changes in FIFA 14. Stop kidding yourselves.
