The thought of Jack being 50-50 on his career is frightening.
Oh, and for those wondering that lunch occurred sometime before the EURO's. You will know, if you read it in full.

Brilliant read, mate. Thanks for sharing.
That Henry bit is very much an ignored fact that he was discontent and pushed for a move away from the club. The only real difference between him and RVP sadly, is that he left the country, which of course is a huge one. But still, that wasn't becoming of an Arsenal captain and legend.
AW mentioned he liked Nani.

It was a great read, but do you guys believe it? I just dont see Wenger saying buy my book, or some of the other things he said.
This is not the Wenger we know is it?

With you on the scepticism mate.. I also don't get why the chap posted it all this while later..
They talked of Yanited players and Arsene made no mention of Giggs or Scholes? Or did I miss that?
Ahh well.. Some good time pass reading that..

@Established1886
Ok i've checked and it's true. Wenger was away for a Funeral on the Friday before the Swansea game and his fitness coaches ran the session.
@Established1886
There is a bit of a power struggle going on. Bouldy wants the same input he was given during pre-season. AW wont allow it anymore. Odd

Re: Arsenal Lobby
Part of me wants to believe that. In the beginning we really we're doing a goodd job defensively. And i think it was no coincidence that it happened as Bould become Arsene's second hand man. I really believe Bould is getting little to no say as to what goes on in training anymore and i think this is really hurting us....

Bergkamp was snubbed as Arsenal coach says Wright
I wonder what Wenger thinking? turns down one of the most technically gifted players we have ever seen as coach
“I think a few board members would have to go for David Dein to come back. Please God that happens.
“Wenger turned DB10 away! Threatened by his popularity I think. Dennis wanted to coach Wenger said no!”

Re: Arsenal Lobby
Technically sound player =/= technically sound coach.
Some players can make the transition and some can't. Perhaps Wenger simply wasn't convinced that Bergkamp could.

Just imagine Henry and Bergkamp at Arsenal, just think of the players we can attract.
It would take a lot of pressure of Wenger imo.
Dennis bergkamp has done a fantastic job at ajax, what they did to City was unbelievable.
Wenger is the only manager who can keep his job while losing everything. He knows there is no consequences for failure, he is just like Abramovich.

Re: Arsenal Lobby
It's not about attracting players, though. Appearance wise, it would be great to have a backroom staff full ex-players like Adams, Bould, Keown, Pires, Henry, Bergkamp etc. but if they aren't good coaches then we're just going to suffer by having them.
I don't believe there's a rift between Bould and Wenger, but I don't think their working relationship is as good as it needs to be. You can tell Bould is having little input because it shows on the pitch. You can see Bould is a bit despondent on the Arsenal bench, too.
It's not surprising, because I think the same happened with Pat Rice. Everyone accused Rice of being a yes-man, and he may have been after so many years here, but it's just as likely that he wasn't allowed much input either.
Wenger likes to have control of everything, for better or for worse.

Re: Arsenal Lobby
Goal.com says 'Protecting his Legacy is the Final Challenge for Wenger'
Basically states that Wenger's reign is coming to its end and that what he needs to do is ensure the state of the club is stable enough for the next coach to take over and take Arsenal to the next level. Almost jerked a tear out of me thinking that there may be some truth to it if we really don't win anything or finish top 4. Still think this season can easily be turned around and this debacle forgotten since Wenger always respects his contract anyway and would be here until it expired.
