Fair play to Nevs. The guy is very impartial with his view. I can't knock him.

I think they have a better squad which is more consistent and focussed. Blasphemous as it may sound.
Our mentality is worse than theirs was last season.

I totally do . Why are some people surprised to see RVP not-injuried and playing that well ?? . without him Man u would be something like 2nd or 3rd as the team is not that good.
As soon as he left i just forget about him even though i'd have love to see him stay

Sky sources understand that Theo Walcott has agreed in principle to a new three-and-a-half-year deal with Arsenal.

Giroud's been ok so far though. I mean he hasn't been outstanding, but he has been good and he has set up some good goals too. I'm sure he'll be even better next season

I believe, yes.
He's been better in certain areas than I thought he'd be. Much more creative than I thought him to be. I knew Montpellier changed their philosophy last season to benefit from that side of him more but I obviously was expecting a bit more in the goals department from someone as intelligent as him. Now worries, there's still half a season to play and 9 goals is okay. He can definitely do better and I believe he will.

Have u seen Giroud's Touches in the last game ?! i don't care about his scoring stats as long as he keeps providing this touches
Re: Arsenal Lobby
^Agreed, I never thought Olivier had such a refined touch in him.
His hold-up play, vision and overall willingness in our build-up is crucial in the way we play. If he can reach 20 goals this season, I'll consider him a successful transfer.

Did I say that he didn't play well in his last 6 games...?
As a forward, your prolificacy is your most examined trait, regardless of how well he's done in other aspects of his play, he should be scoring. It's undeniable.
15+ goals and around 15 assists is what I expect him to finish with. I'd be content with those numbers for a first season.

Re: Arsenal Lobby
The last time Arsenal had 34 points after 22 league games was in 1995-96 season (9 months before Wenger had arrived) when the club finished 5th.
Re: Arsenal Lobby
I honestly thing the steel in the midfield ' crap is over rather. What we are missing is a Gilberto Silva type of player..... not a Patrick Vieira. Another reason why I think we are better off buying M'vila than Capoue. Anyone agree?

I think that at this point, any capable top-flight DM with an ounce of tactical awareness and work-rate would upgrade us.

Re: Arsenal Lobby
You do not rate Coquelin? (Yes I know he isnt exactly a DM). I think we are now in the same position as we were back in 2006. The only difference is that the other teams have gotten a lot stronger, and there is Man City.
I think Arsene has learned from our previous "pre-mature Ejaculation" Generation, and has built the team around a British core. We are not too far away from the promised land. If one screwup of a season is what it takes, then so be it.
Anybody think we should have also gone after that Greek DM/CH from Shalke?
