I think the criticizm of Ayre has been slightly unjustified.
He has tied Suarez Agger and Skrtel to long term contracts despite our disastrous last season.Did the same with the likes of Suso Sterling and Shelvy too.All these mostly without being held to a ransom like Carra or Cole did.True we did make some mistakes in last Summer windowthough i never liked Demsey deal personally and was happy when it fell through.But seems to be correcting very quickly like tieing up Sturridge deal even before the window opened.
Also bought some really good sponsorship deals (ex like Warrior) .Also a genuine Liverpool fan too.
Obviously we made some huge shambolic cook-ups in PR dept but him solely being held resposible for that is very unfair imo.
