The Pharoah - El Shaarawy - Page 5 Empty Re: The Pharoah - El Shaarawy

Post by Guest Sun Aug 04, 2013 5:16 am

i read somewhere recently... wished i could find that link and post it. but allegri recently said that he wants el shaarawy to be more actively involved centrally even though he is playing in the left tactically.

i am so glad allegri said that and has encourage el sharawwy not to limit himself to just left flank. in the first half of the season we saw el sharawwy pretty much everywhere on the field and therefore he was banging goals. so that was something impressive to hear from allegri.

I'd like him to keep his current number until he matures a little bit

I always envisioned SES with the #7 shirt, once Robinho leaves we'll see

I want to see SES play the Del Piero SS role SOOOO BADLY. He has the ability to flow through every attacking position, hopefully a real trequartista like Kaka will allow him to do so.

I like the #92 on him, but if he wants to change numbers I would like to see him wear #7 or #11, some day.

I absolutely hate these #99, #92, #70, #80, #45 type numbers. Just give SES 11 and Balotelli 9 like in Italy.

Stephan was nigh leaving to City yet fought tooth and nail to remain in the club he grew up supporting. Since his performances and being touted as future captain he garnered a lot of the political support of the senatori including Maldini, Boban (despite his criticisms), Baresi and Tassotti which has given him more power than a youngster should have in a club; which had our board know of an ugly backlash if we sold him. Which is why I was so adamant that after Allegri benching him vs Catania was a massive overreaction by the cortisol filled Milanisti.

His political support in Milan and by our players is massive. It will take a price above his worth to pry him away, yet won't happen considering we sell players at their peak; Pato example none withstanding.

Saw him in training, looked commanding and confident, if not unfit. Yet very proud of how he has looked after himself during the 10 weeks out.

He dropped to the bench for a few games after an injury sustained after the Lazio match however he has been starting most of the time. Everyone in the forward line bar Honda has been rotated though, so even once he regains his goal scoring touch it's likely that he'll only be used from the bench on occasion given how hard we expect our wingers to work defensively.

SES is in a pretty tough position. Berlu wants Torres to start, while Inzaghi personally went to Ibiza to convince Menez to come and said he would build the project around him.

Both true . I will add that he must also play as is expected of him , first of all . Obviously , his latest injury was another setback and Menez & Honda have earned their continuous playing time . Of course he won't play just because.

His last performances weren't always convincing , although that's understandable. He needs time to reach his best form and play like he knows best . I trust Inzaghi on this matter . If he deems Ses not ready to start , although it always worries me , i accept it . I really have no doubts whatsoever that when the time comes and he's found form again , he will be starting games again.

If push comes to shove, Torres must be dropped. SES & Honda have earned their positions and Menez is a decent contributor too. You have to wonder what Pazzo is thinking being the 3rd choice CF now.

I agree , whoever is giving results should be playing . And i think that's what Inzaghi has been doing actually , Torres , or Ses for that matter , don't always start anyway . As for Ses , i do think sooner or later it will become increasingly difficult to bench him , once he finds form he is incredible . Inzaghi must be insane to keep benching him for no reason . I actually think Inzaghi did well to wait and let him regain some fitness back , not only for performance sake , but also precaution.

As for Pazzini , i must say i am concerned . He has been consistently dissapointing . He has been playing without conviction and rarely having any impact on the game whatsoever . His movements are never in line with that of his teammates and his touch & finishing is simply below par . At best he will earn a couple of fouls and that's it. Never for a moment have i believed he would help with his introduction in any of the games he played. I am actually being kind , i think he has been terrible so far.

I must say being 3rd choice is only fair , at this point . Nothing personal with Pazzo . It's a fact after his injury , he never really returned the same player. I think it's time to sell , before he leaves for free in the summer .

Exchange him with Paloschi hmm

Pazzini is past it IMO. Every time he comes on all he does is foul and complain to the ref. We should have replaced him with Paloschi in the summer TBH.

Agreed. He really is of no use to Milan anymore . It's a pity , prior to his injury he was really making an impact. He was unlucky with that injury , but Milan should also look at the team's best interest.

At this rate , even Niang will get the nod instead of him , which is just sad . I agree we should have replaced him already with Paloschi . And in any case , replaced or not , he should probably be sold in January , i'd be shocked if they renewed his contract.
