we are linked with the "Piccolo Faraone" from Genoa, he is the definition of a Trequartista. I'm pretty sure he is 18 or 19 years old right now, but has a big future ahead of him. He is Egyption and Italian, and represents Italy. I'd really like to purchase him because I think he can add to our squad. According this article we have made contact over a possible transfer him Via phone call. The next couple weeks could see a deal unfold. He is worth 10-15 mill, but if we offer players that price can drop. Allegri has also given the OK to get him as well.

He is talented but I don't know if he is worth 10-15m euros now.

Too much risk as he is still 18, but if they make a decision to sign him in that price range, they must have watched him closely and impressed to splash that much cash on him.

I support this deal. He seems to have a bright future, but i think 10-15m is way too much for him. He must be worth in the range of 5-8m.

If Genoa are firm on their evaluation and an all cash deal is sought then I don't think that El Shaarawy will move anywhere at all this summer. Is he going to be more of a priority than Ganso? Possibly rob of us of the financial leverage to put in an unlikely bid for Fabregas? Even someone lower down the food chain like Montolivo?

If the Sampdoria president went clinically insane he wouldn't ask more than 15 for Poli.

I personally don't see Inter coughing up much cash either given their other targets. If the Milanese connection is strong enough to force through a transfer this summer then we'll see co-ownerships galore and between 6-8 million in cash in my view, and even that may turn out to be daylight robbery.

If the club is serious about El Shaaraway we'd be wise to obtain an agreement with Genoa setting some sort of price for a transfer in twelve months which we can choose to activate or not. Let him play in Serie A with Genoa or a club like Cagliari if they choose to loan him and allow him to grow and prove himself in Serie A. I'm all for giving him an opportunity, but Genoa will think they can demand anything from us if we get an 18 year old for 15 million and he's not the only talent we'll want from them in the near future.

I think 10mil would be fair since he is so young, but I wouldn't mind throwing in a player or two to convince Genoa.

No way would I offer 10 let alone 15. I think Genoa is crazy for rejecting Inter no other team will offer that at least for a couple more years. For around 5 I would be all for it.

I actually have watched him play. Looking at my statement I made him sound like a bad player. He is going to be quality imo. I just think our transfer funds should be used to guarantee cl success in the very near future. 15 on him wont solve anything for next season. I'd much rather use that money towards Hamsik, asamoah, lamela, ganso, etc... He is a great talent I just think from a milan perspective we should wait it out and sign that big player we want.

I fully agree, but offering 10m is worth the money. He's got a bright future ahead of him .

Everyone who hasn't seen to much of him should watch his last match, scored a brace and basically drew the match for Padova who are now in the play off final thanks to him.

Still I wouldn't go over the odds just beat Inter to him.... over $10mill becomes a risk
