Marchisio vs Alonso

Claudio Marchisio vs Xabi Alonso. Who is better and why?

Marchisio is more of a box to box midfielder while Xabi Alonso is more of a deep lying play maker cant really compare them. A better comparison would be Khedira vs Marchiso.

Anyways, Xabi Alonso is better at passing setting up play, in overall playmaking. I think Marchisio is better at defending then Alonso. Marchisio is more versatile, and he usually scores in big games.

But I cant really say whos the better player since they play in diff. positions

I would rather take Alonso in my team though.
