Newcastle shouldn't buy Carroll now lmao... just let it go. A loan deal wouldn't be THAT bad however there are a lot of better options for the money that is being talked about. Get Rondon from Malaga for example if Newcastle are really desperate for a striker Very Happy

If i remember correctly Newcastle proposed a loan + option to buy deal for him..

Surely Ashley's not such a dud to splash 17m to bring him back considering their very 'constructive' transfer activity in the past few seasons finding a no.of value for money buys.

French club Rennes are bracing themselves for an offer from Zenit St. Petersburg for midfielder Yann M’Vila.

The 22-year-old is set to leave Rennes this summer, although the expected flurry of bids for his services have not arrived. M’Vila was strongly linked with Arsenal, Real Madrid and Inter, but none have pushed to claim his signature yet.

Now, according to French radio station RMC, M’Vila has emerged as a primary target for Russian champions Zenit, who are expected to soon submit a bid.

In any case the media is starting to confuse me with how clueless they all are Laughing

Some of them think we want Debuchy, Douglas and a CF and some think we want Debuchy, Anita and a CF. Laughing

I'd be happy with either scenario in any case.

Benfica have reached an agreement to sign Atletico Madrid forward Eduardo Salvio, according to AS.

The Spanish newspaper reports that the two clubs have agreed on the transfer fee, while the player’s agent Agustin Jimenez trashed out personal terms with the Portuguese club.

Salvio will undergo a medical at Estadio de Luz on Wednesday before signing a long-term deal with the Eagles.

Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi has now declared that the club are still open to the idea of bringing back Kaka, although they will have to study the situation more closely before making a final decision.

"I've not spoken a lot about this with Galliani," he told the Milan Channel.

"He's in our hearts for the player and for the man he is.

"I am not closed to a similar possibility, even if we must pay attention to the conditions.

"Kaka is one of those players who made Milan history."
