Reports from the Corriere dello Sport suggest Parma will attempt to strengthen their squad after Roma return from their American tour.
It is believed that both Aleandro Rosi and Stefano Okaka will leave the Stadio Olimpico side next month for the Gialloblu.

Roma have edged closer to completing the loan of Ivan Piris with a view to a permanent deal from Sao Paulo.

The 23-year-old arrived in Rome on Monday where he will undergo his medical before the season-long loan is confirmed.

Piris is highly-rated and the Giallorossi expect to announce that the deal has been done within the next few hours.

The defender is expected to be joined by Eintracht Frankfurt's stopper Sebastien Jung, who is also coveted by the Serie A side.

Zdenek Zeman, who was named as the new coach of the club after Luis Enrique stepped down at the end of last season, is setting about strengthening his defence.

Mauro Zarate has declared that he intends to stay with Lazio for the new season, but not alongside signing a new contract.

The Argentine spent last year on loan with Inter after a falling out with previous Aquile Coach Edy Reja,

However, after failing to secure a permanent switch to San Siro and back training with Lazio this summer under Vladimir Petkovic, the player looks set to stay.

“I will stay at Lazio 100 per cent and repay the love of the fans on the field,” the forward reportedly told calciomercato.it today.

However, one issue to this declaration could come in form of the player’s confirmation that he won’t sign a new deal.

“Would I spread my wage over more years, though? My contract will stay as it is.”

Lazio have reportedly been keen to re-negotiate Zarate’s current deal, so as to spread his current earnings over an extra year, to bring his annual salary down to a more comparative level with his teammates.
