Lol Agree!!!
Btw, Thierry's latest goal for NYRB. This guy is so good it's unreal, even at this age.

Re: Arsenal Lobby
Bergkamp wasn't really a world-star back then when Arsenal signed him. Podolski is quite a similar signing compared to Bergkamp back then. Was a god in his home Ajax (Köln), flopped at a bigger team Inter (Bayern München) and became mother of god at Arsenal

Everytime I see him score I wonder what could have been had he never left for Barca. Still pure class at 34.

Lex wrote:First point: The FA need to stop being such cowardly cretins, turning a blind eye to real problems in football and punishing people because of effing Twitter......like there's a member of the FA who spends his days browsing Twitter, seeing what footballer says what
Next thing you know, the 16 year old youth players will be disciplined for saying "bredrin" in a tweet because it may carry racist connotations. Ridiculous
Second point: I'm happy for Almunia to have found a new club. End of the day, he did do his best (which wasn't nearly good enough for us) and stayed a professional to the bitter end about the whole thing. Wish him luck at Watford
Back you up on that! Now footballers have no freedom of speech...because FA takes everything seriously even those petty issues!
For goodness sake, it was a microblog site... People should be free to express themselves.

Thierry Henry: "You want Wilshere around. He's a good player, it's as simple as that. He wants to come back & wear the shirt he loves."
"I saw the boss the other day & he said this: 'Hopefully this year we will sign Wilshere & Diaby'. He was clever as usual."
"What are Arsenal missing? Confidence. Can I remind you, when I first arrived there we used to finish 18 points behind United."
"In 1999-2000, we finished 18 points behind Man United. The same Arsenal team won the double in 2002. It's do-able."
