Unlike a few here, I'm very glad Djourou is sticking with us.

He still hasn't hit the form he was in before he got injured, but with the proper rest this summer, he will come back strong. We need more players like him who are committed and involved with the club. The guys a huge asset as well, speaks a shitload of languages and can help some of the new guys settle in faster.

And plus, the guys a 4th choice defender, and believe me, you'd be hard done to find a better 4th choice defender out there.

I like Djourou I think he has a lot of potential but mostly in a deep sitting defence. Still remember his performance vs Drogba :bow:

He loves the club clearly and wants to fight for his position which is fine with me.

He was meh in SPL and PL is a big step, even for a fifth choice. All the best to him, but I wouldn't keep my hopes too high.

Miquel has to be loaned for regular game time. He will be wasted in the reserves. He is better than that.

I like the home better, but I'm not fond of either of them. I can't fathom why we're going to be wearing purple and black next season, and I think those shirts combined with that horrific goalkeeper kit is going to look terrible on the pitch.

I've nothing against pink shirts, usually, but it either needs to be a pale shade or have some darker colours to balance it out.

Well, we were all complaining that the now-blue stripe on the home kit looked too black but then when we saw it in the official promotion video on the arsenal site we were more satisfied so maybe the pink kit'll grow on us.
