Re: Arsenal Lobby
I dont know who you are pointing out when you say any player can play for Arsenal but thats not true. If you are refering to Ramsey then he wasnt like this last season. I remember him scoring against Man utd and people thought we dont need Cesc because we have Rambo now. Amazing how people change thier opinion every minute.Raptorgunner wrote:
I know what you saying, and yes at Arsenal some player will just walk in to starting line up no mater how shit they are. I hope this year things change, we need to buy players that will fight and challenge other players for their spot.
We have far too many players who are sitting around and getting paid for nothing.
I dont know who is Nasri trying to foo, they won the league by a miracle, next year it wont be as easy, and Nasri will not be at city much longer.
I do agree we need to buy some quality and players that has already played at higher level. I am sure Wenger knows this and he might buy some good players.

Re: Arsenal Lobby
Bottomline: He moved and won a title. We sold him and scraped a third place finish.
The euphoria of CL qualification and finishing above Spuds is over for me. The big picture I see is another dismal season ending with a huge gap to the league winners, in terms of points, squad, players, injury, blah blah blah.
We are supposed to be a super club. And all excuses and alibis apart, it is time for us to behave like we are a top club and start winning some silverware. Emirates Cups and Players of the Seasons are not trophies worth bragging about. Time to be back at the top Arsenal. COYG.

Re: Arsenal Lobby
Wilshere hits back at Nasri
Arsenal midfielder slams Frenchman for silverware jibe
Jack Wilshere has hit back at ex-Gunner Samir Nasri by claiming Arsenal will "rub it in his face" when they win a trophy.
Nasri made an acrimonious exit from Arsenal last summer and promptly won the Premier League title in his first season at Manchester City.
And the 24-year-old Frenchman mocked his former club this week, telling a French TV channel they "should celebrate their third-place achievement and I will focus on winning titles."
But Wilshere hopes that is not the end of the story and intends to fire back with ammunition of his own next season.
"I don't know what goes on in his head," said the 20-year-old.
"Fair play to him, he has won a trophy but over the next couple of years that's our goal and I can see Arsenal winning a trophy.
"Maybe he spoke too soon and we can rub it in his face next year."
Injury
Although Arsenal did secure a top-three finish in the Premier League, it has proven a disastrous season for Wilshere - missing the entire campaign, as well as Euro 2012, through injury.
But the England international believes his troubles are over and he is aiming to link up with the rest of his team-mates for pre-season.
"It has been a frustrating year," Wilshere admitted.
"I am glad it is over and I can concentrate on getting fit for pre-season and starting again.
"My ankle is fine now. I was training before the end of the season and looking forward to the Euros but I had a couple of niggles and basically just ran out of time.
"I am in every day from 9am to 3pm trying to get fit for pre-season and that's the aim. On the 9th of July, I want to be training for the team."
