LOL! Sure, lets get rid of our player of the season.

IMO, if he signs, he and Mata will rotate the central role.

Start with this formation to keep Hazard happy but allow them both to drift in and push wide. Play Mikel infront of Cole for extra cover.

Mata is going to play as a CAM role, Hazard will most likely have a free role on the left.

Right now we are the flavor of the month, it is why i can see us spending big this summer.

Edit: And I guess I should clarify my comments, they were probably too vague, I didn't mean for him to warm the bench as a backup, and he can't be anymore expensive than some of the names Chelsea has been linked to for the past few weeks. I just think he's underrated by many.

he's just not going to play Mata's role very well as he's a CM.

One of your other new signings would do a better job at replicating Mata's role ( Marin) than Cabaye would.

Also dont expect to get him for cheap as he's on a long contract and we dont sell for cheap for important players.

Unless you want Danny Simpson then iam sure we will oblige Very Happy

Speaking of Wing backs, I've always been a fan of Santon, I'm kind of disappointed that he hasn't performed to the level people know he can.

Hoping he'll do better next season.

And yeah, I just looked it up and he still has a number of years on his contract, should have done more research on my part. :p
