Marseille have won 0 in their last 13 matches

and they hate PSG, so not expecting them to fight at all.

Bellhanda is one fantastic player

This is turning into a great game.First 30 mins were crap but from then on there's been some good end to end stuff.

And i missed Giroud's goal.Btw Montpellier are 2-1 up atm.OM should've equalized ,it was a heroic clearance from the Montpellier defender.

Doubt anything will come of it

But apparently we have been scouting him for a few months, MoN has been to see him play him self a couple of times.

Why deny Bayern? It's clear that they don't have enough players to challenge for multiple trophies so he will get playing time imo.

Guidetti is better, he's too similar to Gomez.

I want Guidetti and Pizarro in Bayern Munchen next season..

Z, he is at that point of his career where he can make a jump forward and make a name for himself in Europe.

If that jump is to become second fiddle to a 40 goals per season Gomez, then it's not a good one imo.

If he truly wants to leave, there are clubs like Liverpool that are in need of a CF, Juventus, hell even Dortmund is better since Lewan can play wide, and Kagawa is going.

Not everyone is a legit elite striker Nick. Giroud is not a star and shouldn't expect to be treated like one.

But he can at least aspire to become one by picking a side that gives him a legitimate shot. I like him, he has a really good package, and is far from being a one season wonder. I just think he could do better, like walk into Liverpool and wipe the floor with Carroll.

Giroud season is absolutely great, almost walking on water. But he could turn into another Gignac once he step down from his cloud.

How can you compare Giroud and Ggnac, have you seen their career progression? it's nothing alike. not to mention that Giroud is proving to be able to handle the pressure of a title race while performing

He should be able to challenge Gomez. All Gomez really has going for him is his positioning/pace (admittedly one of the best in the world) and efficiency with chances (Madrid tie was probably Gomez' worst outing qua finishing recently). Gomez has an atrocious touch and due to his playing style very sensitive to confidence levels.*

How does Giroud compare in those aspects?

are you seriously telling me you want competition for Gomez? scratch he is the best 9 in the game lol.

there is a difference between competition, and back up. someone like Pizzaro would be ideal back up for ex.

We will see. Gignac had a similar season and was playing in an average teams that counted only on him to score while Montpellier plays good football and provide good service.

However, I find Giroud very impressive and if he can back up this season with the next season, he is the real deal. I think he stays at Montpellier one more year.

I am talking about their career numbers. before his wonder season, gignac had never scored 10 goal in a season, and then all of a sudden he scored 25, but the season after dropped down to 11.

While Giroud has had 14+ goals season for the past 5 years. from Ligue 2 to Ligue 1, he showed constant and obvious progression every year of football he played.

that's a huge difference, one was an obvious one season wonder, the other is a legit talent in progression.
