It will be a tough match for us for sure. Bayern are likely to dominate the midfield and thus get more chances on goal.

This is how I feel the 2 teams currently stand up versus each other in specific areas.

Real can be happy they had a German ref last match. They rarely book players for soft fouls.

What makes you think Real will walk the tie?

Boatend and Badstuber really really need to cover their position when Benz comes deep.

Because if Higuain is on the field and they let themselves get drawn out, Higzand Ronaldo will have a field day.

Well it's a very close call between Neuer and Casillas, both are great.

I am surprised you think our midfield is equal to Bayern's because personally I think the biggest difference between Bayern and Madrid is the midfield.

I would not consider Khedira as good as Kroos and Alonso as good as Bastian. To me it simply seems that the Bayern midfield is mobile and compact where as our midfield is quite immobile and not able to withstand pressure.

However I do think we have a slight advantage over Bayern in attack.

Sahin has started 1 (?) game in the season so it would seem very unlikely that he would get the nod over Alonso / Khedira.

No Gomez is a natural forwad...he won't drop deep.

Ribery and Robben are natural wingers, they try to get Gomez the ball.

Bayern's offense is very very zonal where as Madrid's is almost completely interchangeabble.

Boateng-Badstuber best defensive combo in Europe, only behind Juventus.
