Apart from the obvious bias of this vid, I really don't think pique has anything over Ronaldo at all....he just had no composure , he still burnt Pique for his fair share of chances.

Pique was the only Barca defender who couldnt handle Ronaldo when he played shocking

Ok I saw around 2 min of that video, and all I saw was cristiano ronaldo doing a couple of useless stepover and not getting past pique once and taking some tame shots... Not impressive at all :/

And in yours all I saw was what the average La liga defender does to Ronaldo on a weekly basis..........

What I saw in my video was Cristiano Ronaldo not getting past pique even once, the same as in your video which shows to me that Pique didn´t have to much trouble against Cristiano Ronaldo and that was my point.

We can go back and forward with youtube vid all day long, dont mean squat.

If you take away last game, Pique has totally owned Cristiano.

If you dont admit that, then your simply bias.

You know Zeal, I dont like Ramos but I still put him in my team of this season up untill this point.

However, this premature hype given out to Ramos is mighty annoying. He has done well, I give him that, but slow the train down and lets wait and see over some time what he can do.

Naming him best centerback in Spain, future best whatever, premature.

The one game Ronaldo played as a striker was the CDR game......we created a multitude of chances for him....didn't see Pique stopping him......he stopped himself.

Why is Pique getting credit for all the other stuff while Alves is the one owning him left right and centre on the wings?

Back to original statement....Pique is probably the most talented player who happens to be a centreback.I however could make a srgument for Ramos being the more talented centreback if that makes any sense.

Anyway I rate Pique highly, very very highly, I just disagree with a couple statements.

I agree but he's been playing well (was pretty meh vs Levante though lol).

Rag, because other players have owned Cristiano (Puyol, Dani Alves) doesnt mean Pique didnt stop him either you know. Obviously those two recently have been the guys to do that, but I dont understand the short memory of this forum.

Before this season, Puyol was on the leftside of centerback and Pique on the right and it was Pique who shut him down.

I dont understand why its only this season that counts for anything.

Anyway, I agree he (Ramos) is playing well but I see no justification for him being "more talented" and I certaintly see no justification for him being "better".

Why is Ramos more talented? Other than being faster, what does he have over him?

Ramos better than Pique? No he is not.

Like I said before, on a good day Pique is the best.

Ramos is good and has been better this season but Pique is more talented, also the better ball playing CB. Pique is better.

A couple qualities, heading , tackling,balance,speed, anyway...yea I don't disagree man.

All I'm saying is that in any given Real Madrid game bar Dec 10th there've been times where he's gotten the better of Pique and had chances that he just couldn't bury.Pocket is a strong term.

On the other hand.....Alves specifically has done an amazing job against him.

When Puyol steps down Ramos will slide to CB and you'll see who's boss....it'll be a great combo....but you'll see.

Edit: Saw the vid. Ramos is a great great player who dosen't get his fair share from some.

There'll always be haters.

But sometimes I feel his World Cup and Euro performances his two great seasons at right-back and 1 1/2 great seasons at centre back go largely unnoticed.
