Re: La Primavera
Wanted to update this section with some new faces that are making waves.
Tomas Svedkauskas
Age: 18
Country: Lithuania
Position: Goalkeeper
Status: We picked him up for around 625K from Fiorentina back in the summer. He has quietly established himself as the #1 for Alberto De Rossi and has been seen on the senior bench as well as in training with them from time to time. Definitely one for the future in the goalkeeper department, but it remains to be seen if that will be with Roma or not.
-----------------------------
Fabrizio Carboni
Age: 19
Country: Italy
Position: Center back
Status: Having succeeded Alessandro Florenzi as Primavera captain, the young U-19 stalwart has played in just about all of our Primavera this matches this season, forming a good partnership with Matteo Rosati in the center ahead of Svedkaukas in goal. He has also shown a goal scoring touch with 3 goals this season.
-----------------------------------
Claudiu Bumbu
Age: 19
Country: Romania
Position: Attacking Midfield
Status: Considering one of our most high profile youth signings, we scooped up Bumba from his native Romania back in the summer, paying his former club, Targu Mures, 600K. Bumbu immediately returned the favor by scoring a goal to help us win the SuperCoppa. He currently has 4 goals to his name this season.
------------------------------------
Matteo Ricci
Age: 18
Country: Italy
Position: Attacking Midfield
Status: Known collectively along with his brother Federico as the Ricci brothers. Marco has seen his stock rise greatly as he's now been called into the U-19 squad for upcoming friendlies. He has played 10 times for the Primavera this season.
----------------------------
Marco Frediani
Age: 18
Country: Italy
Position: Left Winger
Status: With 4 goals to his name in 13 matches, Frediani has found himself also in Italy's U-19 squad along with teammates Carboni and Matteo Ricci. Considered one of our brightest attacking talents. He may well see some time with the first team near the end of the season.
-------------------------------
Jonathan Ferrante
Age: 17
Country: Italy
Position: Center Forward
Status: The Buenos Aires born Italian international (sound familiar? ) has really lit up the league this season with 6 goals in 12 matches thus far. At 17, he's likely to be our next biggest attacking talent after the likes of Marco D'alessandro and Gianluca Caprari. Having opted for Italy, he has now capped himself at the U-18 level, last turning out just 4 days ago. Let's hope we have another Osvaldo on our hands here. The signs sure do point that way.

Re: La Primavera
Simone Sini looks to be returning from Pro Vercelli, who has opted not to buy him. Kid is having a real tough time of it. We're very likely to send him right back out on loan.
Luca Antei has quite a few suiters himself. Not sure whether he will remain with Sassuolo for next season on loan again either.

Re: La Primavera
Antei has reportedly attracted four clubs, from Serie A and B. I would definitely like to see him in action with us. But that would mean having Castan, Marquinhos, Antei and Romagnoli, not really reliable for a whole season.
Viviani should be on his way back as well, I would give him his shot as well.
Basically, I'm all for keeping Antei, Romagnoli, Viviani, Verre, Piscitella, Bertolacci, Caprari along with Florenzi. At least these guys have heart.

Re: La Primavera
Think we lost Caprari to Pescara, IIRC. I'll have to double-check.
Agree with the rest though. And then there's still Frascatore (who was cut from the U-21 squad) Ferrante, the Ricci brothers and Claudiu Bumba coming up as well.

True I believe that was a loan to buy option, but I don't quite remember.
Sabelli and Tallo are two other names. We might get destroyed, but watching these kids play is a joy.

Re: La Primavera
Sabelli indeed. Heard great things about him. Tallo might still be a bit raw. We should careful with him. If he's nurtured correctly, he could be beast and if we don't, he could end up like Okaka.

Re: La Primavera
Roma might have bought Pescara’s half share of Gianluca Caprari in exchange for half shares of Piscitella, Politano and Viviani, according to gianlucadimarzio.com.
Young Giallorossi midfielder Valerio Verre (last season on loan to Siena) will come back to Roma, as Tmw reports.
Transfer negotations will become official tomorrow at 11 AM.

Re: La Primavera
Full list of Co-ownership deals:
Andrea Bertolacci between Genoa and AS Roma - renewed
Gianluca Caprari between Pescara and AS Roma - resolved in favor of AS Roma
Alessandro Malomo between Prato and AS Roma - no deposit
Mattia Montini between Benevento and AS Roma - resolved in favor of Benevento
Alessandro Orchi between Catanzaro and Roma - renewed
Stefano Pettinari between Crotone and AS Roma - renewed
Giammario Piscitella between Genoa and AS Roma - resolved in favor of AS Roma
Adrian Marius Stoian between Chievo and AS Roma - renewed
Panagiotis Tachtsidis between AS Roma and Genoa - resolved in favor of Genoa
Junior Tallo between AS Roma and Chievo - resolved in favor of AS Roma
Valerio Verre between Genoa and AS Roma - resolved in favor of AS Roma
So basically,
Bertolacci returns to Genoa
Montini is now owned outright by Benevento
Orchi returns to Cantanzaro
Pettinari returns to Crotone
Stoian returns to Chievo
Tachtsidis is now owned outright by Genoa
Caprari, Piscitella, Tallo and Verre all return to Roma and will likely be with the team for the retreat at Riscone di Brunico and the MLS All-Star game.
Not quite sure what's going on with Alessandro Malomo's status though. I would assume that if Prato offered no deposit, then he would return to Roma by default.

Re: La Primavera
At this point, I'm feeling Malomo's time has come and gone. He had a small chance during the Spalletti days to make a jump, but was never able to take it. He hasn't really made that jump in quality and has therefore been surpassed by namely Romagnoli and Antei. Speaking of Antei, Sassuolo have bought half of his contract so he is now on co-ownership and will be getting some valuable Serie A experience next season.
And out of the three strikers we got back, I would say at least two of them are likely to go right back out on loan or as part of the Benatia and/or Naingollan deals (between Lopez and Caprari for those).
I'm on the fence for Bertolacci. While I would have liked to see him come back and take his shot to break into our first team, he could probably use the extra space at Genoa. I just hope we don't lose him next year.

Re: La Primavera
of all those names, Bertolacci undoubtedly has the best chance of breaking into our first team similarly to how Florenzi did last season. I think he at least deserves his shot. With Taxi gone and Perrotta unlikely to be utilized frequently and effectively under Garcia, there's some space in midfield for him, but nothing is guaranteed.

At this point i think bertolaacci will never play for Roma , its the third loan out and he seemingly values playing time more than anything else , i can see him as part of transfer in clubs like udinese , Bologna, Cagliari and etc
