Vucinic on target for Juve again
Mirko Vucinic scored again as Juventus ran out in a test against their own youth academy.
The former Roma striker has been a huge hit since joining his new teammates this week.
He netted on his debut and was on target again during today’s 2-0 game against the Juventus youth squad.
Vucinic started with Alessandro Matri and Alessandro Del Piero in a 4-3-3 system, as Antonio Conte continued his tactical experiments.
The youngsters held out until the second half, when Vucinic was brought down for a penalty converted by Del Piero.
The two combined to create the second goal, as they exchanged passes rapidly for a Vucinic chip.
Goalkeeper Branescu’s acrobatic save prevented Vucinic adding a third goal to the tally.

Ah so he's trying out the 4-3-3? Nice. Reason why Marchisio and Pirlo were not there and others was because they are at Coverciano.

Conte used a 4-3-3 against Primavera
In this rainy afternoon, the First Team managed by Antonio Conte played Marco Baroni’s youngsters over one hour without any stops in order to supply fuel to their engine. Conte’s men finally won but the Bianconeri lads made the right impression. A final 2-0 result occurred, which saw both goals in the second part of the game. Del Piero first scored a penalty and Vucinic then netted following his captain’s cross.
Since the very beginning, Conte and Baroni shuffled their cards. Conte used all the available players choosing a sort of 4-3-3 system, and fielded Storari between the sticks, Motta, Grygera, Barzagli and De Ceglie in defense, Ruggiero, Giandonato and Pasquato in midfield, and Vucinic, Matri and Del Piero forward.
The Primavera’s coach fielded an unusual formation as well. Among his strings, there were Ekdal, Castiglia and Essabr. He chose a 4-1-4-1 system. Kirev between the posts, Carfora, Di Dio, the Spanish Pol Garcia and Livero in defense. The brazilian Gabriel Appelt (one of the most expected players) at the very front. Margiotta, Ekdal, Castiglia and Essabr in midfield, and Libertazzi as sole striker.
The youngsters who have been working for one month, immediately speeded up by feeling very comfortable in Chiusa Pesio. Castiglia immediately kept Sotorari busy, along with his team mates Carfora and Margiotta. However, the brilliance of the First Team manifested itself and Kirev had to start to seriously apply himself. The Bulgarian goalkeeper had to manage shots from Ruggiero, Matri and Vucinic. The striker from Montenegro was one of the most cheered players: he tried to repay his new fans’ affection with another goal, following that scored against Cuneo, but he didn’t find the goal shooting from long distance, neither with a header.
Before the break, Storari applied himself on Libertazzi, and the first half finished 0-0 with a very good performance shown by the Primavera.
At the very beginning of the second half, Manninger replaced Storari for the First Team. Baroni instead made some more changes: Branescu between the sticks, Napoli and Rubin as central defenders, with Carfora confirmed on the right and Garcia moved to the left. In midfield, the Appelt brothers alternated and Guilherme replaced Gabriel, while Lanini was fielded instead of Margiotta. Essabr, Castiglia, Ekdal and Libertazzi were confirmed.
The second half started with a hard rain on Chiusa Pesio, but also with the goal which opened the score. Vucinic was fouled in the box and the referee Alessio assigned a penalty: Del Piero scored with his usual “sangfroid”.
The Primavera changed the rows again. Corticchia replaced Castiglia, and Beltrame - the last signing from Novara - was fielded instead of Essabr. After a few minutes, Simunac entered in place of Libertazzi, and Schiavone replaced Ekdal.
The game offered another thrilling moment, the most beautiful of the whole game: a series of passes between Del Piero and Vucinic, with the striker from Montenegro who brilliantly lifted the ball passing Branescu and scoring the second goal for the First Team.
The final result of this test match was thus 2-0. Juventus greeted Valle Pesio in the best possible way. At least Conte’s side, because next week the Young Teams will resume their training camps in the area around Cuneo.
