Re: Dribblers...
I'm loving the fact that the only example people have of Bale actually being effective is that one game vs Inter

Jese from Madrid's youth team is a good example of good dribbling imo

Re: Dribblers...
Speedsters probably have less years in them than change of pace players if they rely on that as their main skill.

Know any other players that can injure opposition players with pure skill ?
Messi. Roberto Carlos broke his finger when Messi dribbled at him.

Re: Dribblers...
A perfect winger would be:
- If he has Robben like acceleration, agility and topspeed and can turn at full speed like messi/robben while keeping total control of the ball like messi.
- Can use both foot like ronaldo.
- Is around 175-180cm, taller then that will be make his feet too big to turn superemly fast, shorter will be fall like a fly aka nerman.
- Has ronaldo like off the ball movements and messi like passing and dimaria like crossing/longthroughball.
- Has neymar like tricks dribbling.
- Can play for full 90 at top speed and also contributes to defence.
- He can score and assist regularly like messi.
So do know anyone with that credentials lol. Perhaps jessi rodreguez has some of these.

Re: Dribblers...
i dont think so, he is just too big, 186cm, he has very high change of pace but his legs/body are too big and predictable. Thus it might seem like he is superemly fast, but its not. If you watch robben and compare him to Ronaldo, you will see what i mean.
if ronaldo was 180cm like Robben, he would have been still one the best dribblers in the world.

Re: Dribblers...
Well, Marko Marin can dribble nicely, too - if he wouldn't forget football isn't alone about fruitless dribbling...

Re: Dribblers...
when he runs at full speed and suddenly shifts to his other foot changing direction he always beats his man.. unless he is fouled.. i dont know if thats called change of pace but its damn effectiveSuperMAG wrote:i dont think so, he is just too big, 186cm, he has very high change of pace but his legs/body are too big and predictable. Re: Dribblers...
Well the fact that Messi is in the "change of direction" group I think that group automatically wins.
Pace it self can be really effective just look at the Kaka of Milan.

R9, turn of pace, speedster, power and freestyle type of tricks all blended into dribbling perfection.
