Who are the Top 5 dribblers in the world after Messi?

What i mean by dribblers is close ball control, ability to take on one or more defenders.

I think Hatem Ben Arfa may be in this top.

Ronaldo is awful at dribbling. The OP specifically mentioned his criteria for dribbling was close ball control. In tight spaces Ronaldo is useless - he can only kick and rush for the most part.

It's obvious that Iniesta comes 2nd after Messi.
Xavi is up there cause he has close ball control and can beat his man, but only 1 man.
Di Maria is certainly up there, he has fantastic skills.
Robben and Ribery are great.

Overall there aren't many great dribblers these days. If you go back a bit in time, you'd include the likes of Ronaldo, Bergkamp, Henry, Redondo, Zidane etc...

Di Maria and Ronaldo in this top? You didn't see Miccoli or Lavezzi exploding when they are between 3-4 players.Even Zlatan Ibrahimovic is one of the most powerful dribblers in the world . He is very strong, has amazing skills...great dribbling abilities and an outstanding acceleration with the ball.Just watch some of Zlatan's last season's goals and you will see.

And like it or not, believe me...it is much harder to dribble in Serie A more than 2 players.

And Robben; Robben is pure class, but he became a little bit too much foreseeable and i think he can't be in this top.He usually dribbles 1-2 players.

I agree with Iniesta, Ribery and Nasri being in this top.Nasri has an excellent ball control, maybe Silva has a better acceleration with the ball, but Nasri has the strength on his side, so it's easier for him to use his shoulder, to keep away the opposite players.I watched them playing against Soton last weekend and Nasri was far better at keeping the ball between 3-4 players. Let's say Nasri =~ Silva
