Every time anyone (including Benz)takes a senseless shot (something he does at times 10 times a game or even more ) it's a wasted opportunity.

It's one less opportunity for Benzema and Ozil to get their touches and create chances, higher percentage chances, either for themselves or for him.

I don't care if we scored the most goals last year, we could score more if we made the most of every attacking opportunity.

Why do you think Higuain scores at such a remarkable rate, he lets people create for him, he doesn't demand the most touches then hold onto the ball try and dribble and win a corner, he doesn't cut in and take 10 shots a game, he gets the ball, releases it to people who can make more use of it than him makes his runs and scores his goals or makes the extra pass for the assist.

He plays a simple and effective game, which maximizes his strengths and doesn't expose his weaknesses and would score an amazing amount of goals if given more time on the pitch.

That's what I want from CR.

Cristiano doesn't have a poor first touch or bad passing. His vision is lacking though but then again, he never really had it it to begin with nor try to utilise the little he has.

Once again Josh, the things you are asking for would never happen. I repeat, it would NEVER happen. Cristiano is gonna continue shooting from wherever he feels like, gonna continue shooting Lord knows how much times a match and basically be a selfish footballer. Why, because that is exactly how coaches get the best out of Cristiano. SAF knew it, Mourinho knew and Bento knows it and unlike Portugal, both Real Madrid and Man United have the squad that is professional and technical enough to make such things happen.

Basically, you're gonna have to deal with it until either he leaves or you/Nick just happen to coach Real Madrid...

I really want Barca to win for two reasons.
Least important we keep the supercup lead.
Most important the atmosphere for Mou will be really heavy afterwards.

The atmosphere will be heavy for Mou if we lose but I've always got the feeling that's how he likes it. It makes it easier to motivate the players if they think the world is going to end tomorrow.

At this point Mou's job isn't even up for debate. The club won't fire him unless something really catastrophic happens. It'll make things a lot more tense than they need to be but like I said Mou likes the atmosphere tense.

I predict CR to be the key player and difference for Madrid today. Barca had the sheer advantage after outplaying Madrid last game yet since a certain "world class" clown thought he has ball playing skills, he handed the advantage right to Madrid. CR is by no means a good performer against Barca, yet he has lost that mental block that was hindered him from scoring against them. This overcoming of the mental block is by far the biggest hurdle he could have crossed when it comes to Barca.

He will perform today and win it for them with a brace.
