EPL's new Cristiano Ronaldo
Petrov expects Agbonlahor to play his way back into England contention over the coming months, however. "People talk about Ronaldo, but when you look at the assets of Gabby, you can put him in the same bracket," Petrov said in the Daily Star.
"I have always said to him, 'You don't know how good you are and the ability you have'. He can take this Premier League by storm. Not many people have what he's got.
"He has the strength, the speed, he scores goals and he creates them. I'm trying to give him the encouragement. I thought Gabby was absolutely outstanding in the win over Wigan. That's the Gabby we know, taking people on. Players are so scared of his pace. The game against Wigan was all about Gabby. He was brilliant."

^^^
Carrick was better than Alonso, and Fletcher was better than Masch when those 2 were Liverepool players. Lee Dixon said it on MOTD and so did fans of most non-LFC clubs.
true story.

Re: EPL's new Cristiano Ronaldo
He had immense potential 3 years ago, then He killed 1 year by doing some wacky workouts which hindered his game.
He is back now though, Obviously not as good as ronaldo lol but I hope he can work as hard as he doing now and can go to the euros

He's actually been playing very well this season to be fair.
I'm 100% sure Petrov never said this though.

He's a straightforward player, pretty efficient, too. I like him.
Anyone care to join a "Agbonlahor for Euro 2012 England squad" bandwagon?

Well, England have only got Rooney as an obvious choice in the strikers department.
After him there's Bent, Carroll, Welbeck, Sturridge, Zamora, Defoe, Agbonlahor... I think they've got an equal chance to get selected, no one's really a stand-out from that lot.
So yeah, Agbonlahor for Euro 2012 team!!
