We have so many players that have been disappointing tho, particulalry Ronaldo and Ozil. Also for the last couple of games, DiMaria hasnt been lighting it up either. Dont know what it is but for some reason we are so dissapoitning this season compared to last. Good to see Ronaldo back in the scoring chart maybe now he would be less selfish

Our wingers are relatively predictable, despite their immense skill. Ronaldo in losing Marcelo is forced to do much more than a player of his skillset should be doing while Di maria's lack of ambidexterity neccessitates an overlapping fullback fro proper spacing.

Ozil has been adversely affected by competition from Modric and generally didn't play well at the start of last season either.

But the fundamental point remains, we're talking about individual players here, they on their own can only do so much. If you plug them all in to a proper attacking framework you're going to get results. He did that with the counter attacking game and now he has to diversify and teach them how to break down teams by moving the ball around and stretching defenses.

The problem here is that that involves not playing through the wings but allowing the creative players through the centre more time of the ball. Their understanding of space and movement as well as their control is much more valuable in this framework than the pace and skill of the wingers.

I can remember Ozil kickstarting his season after the new year last season, which is very apoorling for a guy who wants to be a regular for a team like Madrid, we can not wait for him or any other important player to take such long to get into their groove and risk losing games like we have been doing, god knows why we got Modric as he is nothing like Ozil and will find it very hard to get game time this season

As for the new game plan, I haven't really seen that this season tbh, all i have seen is the same below average defending on set pieces that has been carrying on after us like an achilles heel and very poor movement of the ball, i still see Alonso long balling to either wing and i have seen a change in how DiMaria plays i.e. he crosses alot more than through balls, i dont knw if its by teh order of Mou but its clearly not working everytime, only some times and with Ozil's form this season he has to take centre stage and create our chances like he did last season, i think DiMaria is beign restricted alot by Mou and he has us pressing one by one rather than all at once, if you look at clasico and compare it to say for example Getafe you will see a clear difference. Ozil is doing too much running, DiMaria has to do defending, Ronaldo is isolated without goatcelo and this has a knack on effect on our forwards who fail to score as a result

whatever this is, i don't think its working, it there isn't proper team work might as well cut all the transitons and play like our old ways in waiting the teams to come to us and attack them from there

we have alot of work to do if we want to dominate through posessions and stuff because opposition players have it easy just bypassing our midfield and defence with ease without even passing anyone, better pressing and maybe it would work. That would mean Ronaldo engaging with pressing for a starter

If your referring to me then congratulations on accomplishing nothing! I don do stepovers, I would never do them, and how the frak do you know what I can do or can't do. I said useless because lost control and it went out of bounce which renders the dribble useless. Except it and move on because you don't have to defend every move Christina makes.
