the show has definitely peaked. but still better than most dramas. i just watch it to find out what happens next these days. it's not as engaging as it used to be.

Fantastic episode. I'm loving this new season really....perhaps I'm overreacting...I don't know.

The Russian is charismatic as hell.

technically I believe it is
but in North America a lot of networks started streaming shows on their websites (with commercials though of course)

I really like Hannah's role so far into the new season
But their romantic scenes... lol... it just feels weird watching 2 crazy people say romantic crazy stuff to each other

Debra is just too messed up. The entire series almost a history of psychological trauma for her, she should theoretically be in a psych ward.

A little harsh on this season imo.
I think they're moving away from Dexter's routine cloak and dagger approach to killing people. It's only natural since there's only so long that he can go around killing people, bad as they may be, before someone starts to take notice. A season like this was bound to happen eventually and I really don't think it's all that bad of thing honestly.
I like to think of the show as evolving. If it had still been the same as previous seasons, I think people would be complaining that it wasn't doing anything new and would therefore call it boring. As different as this season is, the last thing you can say about it, is that it's boring.

- As for this episode....fully didn't expect Debra to lose her shit and spill out her feelings for Dex like that. It's weird indeed and I knew it was coming, but not like that.
Liking Sirko more and more honestly. Ray Stevenson has done a great job of adding layers to this guy that we would've never thought about. The fact that he's gay really doesn't make much of a difference because I could easily see an actress playing a very similar role to this one and having the exact same impact on the show. I'm thinking he will eventually go after Hannah and use her to flush Dex out.
La Guerta's getting closer to finding out that Dex is the Bay Harbor Butcher, but somehow, I can't see her exposing him. There's a variable in this equation that we haven't seen yet that will come to light pretty soon I feel.
And then there's Dexter and Hannah. Seeing Yvonne Strahovski in this role only makes me think she would've made a better Lumen than Julia Stiles did and that Stiles would've been a much better Hannah so the casting was a bit off on both characters, but Hannah does resonate with Dexter in ways the women in his life simply can't, didn't or won't. That said, she will likely die...either by Dexter's hand, Isaak's or Deb's.
And finally, there's Joey and his increasingly ill-fated attempt to extricate Nadya from the grips of the Ukrainian mob. It really is a tough ask and I don't see either of them surviving this season.

I personally enjoyed the season until the very moment Dexter decided to stick his dick into Hannah's vagina instead of sticking his knife into her heart.That's where it went downhill IMO...

- Issac RIP T.T , great episode, seeing Issac being open about his feelings, and dexter showing some compassion towards him was great... wished this story stretched a little bit longer.... one of the best episodes ever!!! i felt so sorry for Issac, because as much as he wanted to kill dexter he just took responsibility in the end by himself... really liked him one of teh best character in dexter
