Jamie and Brienne Arc
Starting to feel sorry for Jamie. Hated him before but can't help feel sorry for him. Rolling in the shit(?)/mud, then drinking horse piss. Losing hand before.
Him and Brienne sticking up for each other. Can see them escaping soon somehow.
Kings Landing Arc
Loved the scene between Lady Olenna and Varys. Some pretty amazing dialogues. The way Olenna outwitted Varys was brilliant and so natural.
Margaery has Joffery in her pockets (or cleavage). He looks like a 13 year old whenever he is with her lol
Tywin the 2nd person to tell Cersei she isn't as clever as she thinks she is. That's gotta hurt. Wonder what's Tywin's plans for Joffery though.
Brotherhood and Sam Arc
Dondarrion looks like a boss character. His fight with the Dog should be interesting.
Sam finally got his girl. However the scene was crazy when they all were attacking each other. Had no clue what was going on. But Sam's saga is another one to look out for. Wonder if he is going to meet up with John Snow.
Daenery's Arc
Knew she would do exactly that. There was no way she was ever going to take them as 'slaves'. Best scene of the episode. It was amazingly executed.
Although i am sure she will get into trouble somewhere later lol.
You forgot Theon little adventure, the writer really trying to make him more sympathetic than he is in the book, that scene was never there. And that line " My real father lost his head at King's Landing" though memorable wasn't there either.
Also he didn't burn down Winterfell so it's weird how he confessed so.

Bran is discovering he has talents that allow him to control animals and see the past/present/future in his dreams. He along with his group are going to the wall to stay with Jon Snow because they think they will be safe there (lol).

- Until book 5, he does nothing.
Guess he'll be of some importance towards the end though.

Re: Game of Thrones
Gaaah... Amazing episode. Pretty much every scene was brilliant.
Tywin brilliant again.
Olenna and Maegary
Varys and the sorcerer
Daeny This was the scene I was looking forward to since Ep 1. Fking brilliantly done as well. So epic.
I don't understand what they're doing with Bran's character...
Thought Jojen was cast perfectly, but we aren't seeing much of him.

- Spoiler:
- In the book I found him interesting even now, disagree Free. But they aren't doing him through the wolf's eyes... Wtf are these dreams of him running. Hope we see more so it builds for quite an epic scene later on...

Re: Game of Thrones
It's difficult to juggle storylines like they are currently doing. Especially when they only have ten 1 hour episodes to do it in.
Given their resources I think they're doing a fabulous job. I think if they had 15/20 episodes instead though we would be getting a bit deeper into each storyline without leaving things out from the books.
All that said I'm very satisfied with the show as it is.

i think they are splitting this book into 2 seasons, so it's 20 episodes for this book

He was acting on Ramsay's orders. He let him go so that he can hunt him down and torture him again. Ramsay Snow is an animal. A psychopath.

Not sure how I feel about this Jojen yet. Reminds me of a teenage Elrond though. I think making him a younger boy in the book, but super wise and intelligent was more appealing for me. This older version is more mature and the actor definitely fits, but I dunno.
Also, Meera needs more lines ffs.

Re: Game of Thrones
Yes...they would need to be given a whole lot of dialogues to fully understand what they really are and how awsome bran really is. But sadly it would require much more episodes.McLewis wrote:Not sure how I feel about this Jojen yet. Reminds me of a teenage Elrond though. Another sad thing is that , from the series we will never be able to know what the character's thoughts are. What goes on in Jamie's and Tyrion's minds are nothing short of amazing. GRRM

Jamie had the best scene by far. Him telling his side of the Kingslayer story was fantastic.
