In my ideal world it would be Dany and Stannis marriage
pls keep it to people that have been introduced in the show so far

Yeah I thought he was the baddest of all baddasses on the show. Even >> Drogo
Although when Oberyn is introduced, my mind might change.

Casting in Game of Thrones has been elite level so far. I trust the guys behind the show will put extra care into casting The Viper.

Re: Game of Thrones
Casting has been near perfect.
Tyrion, Drogo, Jaime, Varys...damn...talk about actors being born to act certain characters.
Only few have disappointed (Jorah, Jon, Mance...)

Re: Game of Thrones
In the tv series, he is a totally likeable character. He is also one sexy mofo. And totally badass.Firenze wrote:Jorah? a disappointment? He's GOAT ffs. Is he different in the books?
In the books, he is different. Big, grouchy, older, ugly as fk. Much more badass, though. I was surprised when i read the description of Jorah in the books and found the casting hard to accept.

Re: Game of Thrones
You can see that 2 castings they really took time with were Tywin and Margarey Tyrell. Tywin has had almost nothing cut - and even had stuff added - and they really needed to pick the perfect actor to make that bet pay off. Same with Margarey - in the show she has people like on her finger , she was manipulative in the book...but not like this. So they had to pick get a great actress for the added role.
Problem with casting is going to be the pace - I think they may end up having to re-cast some of the kids (Bran,Arya especially).

Robert's Rebellion because of R+L=J (don't google it) but Aegon's Landing would be quite kick ass as well.

- Spoiler:
- I am pretty sure R+L=J will be revealed in A Dream Of Spring by Howland Reed. Jon Snow is Azor Ahai, the prince that was promised, the song of ice (Stark) and fire (Targaereyan)
