First 2 rounds had me a little worried but then Rios just got smacked up for the rest of the fight Proud.

He's a proper warrior though.

Geez, I thought Rios would give Pacman more of a fight.

Comfortable victory for him, I wonder who's next for him...

I would like to see Pacman - Broner if both are up for it.

Canelo might be intrested in getting right back on the horse in terms of fighting another big name.

By David King

COMMENTARY | Ever since Manny Pacquiao's domination of Brandon Rios on Nov. 23, Top Rank Promotion's CEO Bob Arum has tried to convince the boxingcommunity that he's, once again, serious about getting the Filipino congressman inside the ring with Floyd Mayweather.

Of course, it's hard for knowledgeable boxing fans to take Arum seriously given the fact he's been the biggest obstacle in the way of a way of a Mayweather vs. Pacquiao super-fight.

Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer would probably agree with the assessment, and he set some clear terms for the still-demanded super-fight, making sure Pacquiao knows exactly what he needs to do if he's serious about ever sharing the same ring with Floyd.

"He's using Mayweather's name to drum up publicity of Pacquiao," Schaefer said in response to Arum's recent statements about organizing the super-fight. "When it is convenient for him, he uses Mayweather's name. Mayweather is pretty clear, as clear as it can be. He is not going to be dealing with Arum or Todd [duBoef] or anyone else over there. He doesn't need them. If you want Mayweather-Pacquiao, then okay. Make Pacquiao available and Mayweather Promotions and Golden Boy Promotions will take care of everything. ... We are not looking to cut Arum out, this is not about not paying Bob. He can have his Top Rank logo on the banner, no problem. He can have a few seats, no problem. It's nothing to do with disrespecting, but if he thinks he's the driving force here - what [expletive] arrogance does the guy have? ... What does Arum think that he's the godfather of boxing? Who the hell does he think he is? People have to come and call him and kiss his ring or kiss his ass. That's not going to happen. It's [expletive] unheard of."

Interesting comments from Schaefer considering the fact Arum recently told USA Today that there is no animosity between himself and Mayweather. Given the history of failed negotiations between the two camps, Schaefer is certainly being more honest about the situation.

It's hard to see Mayweather vs. Pacquiao materializing as long as Arum is still in the picture.

For the super-fight to ever happen, Schaefer also made it clear Pacquiao won't get anything close to a 50/50 revenue split.

"We are using his blueprint. The same thing he said with [Nonito] Donaire, that Donaire was such a bigger star than [Abner] Mares," Schaefer added. "Okay, you know what; we will use your own blueprint. And there is no disputing, no question that Mayweather is the number one star in the sport. Mayweather is the highest paid athlete in the world. And with his TMT brand - he makes more money from the TMT brand than Pacquiao makes fighting. I've seen the numbers."

LMFAO Broner got absolutely battered. Should have had points deducted as well. Both faces tell the story. His defence was atrocious. 2nd best all night.

The look on his face is priceless Laughing

He has disappointed me. How you gonna be the new Floyd and gain so much weight in between fights? How you gonna party and leak amateur porn videos so close to fights?

Moving to WW was a big mistake, it's too early in his career. He sucked against Malignaggi in his first fight at the weight and now he got smashed. Maybe he shouldnt be a fattie an stay where he belongs....lightweight.

Floyd didnt fight at the weight untill 2004, when he was 26 years old and won 32 fights. At that point he was a vet already, been through the Castillo battle, beat the undefeated Corrales, beat Emanuel Augustus and everyone in the lightweight division worth mentionin....Broner is 24, and while he had 25 fights up untill the move he has fought noone other than Malignaggi and I guess Ponce De Leon....should of stayed in shape and at 135, plenty of guys like Ricky Burns, Miguel Vázquez or Richar Abril.

Apparently Floyd has been telling him to stop the partying and bs and he clearly isnt listening.

I think its telling that considering how close Floyd is to Broner, he wasnt at the fight, instead he was watching the Lakers play the Bobcats in Charlotte.

Last time I checked Maidana dominated near top 10 p4p Broner.

What has Khan done? Oh yeah, struggle to beat 34 year old Julio Díaz in some hobo arena in Sheffield.

Easy fight lmao

Khan was holding on for dear life against Maidana in an extremely close fight.

Khan trolling for money because his rep doesnt speak for itself anymore, sad times.

At no stage did he say he preferred to fight Maidana.

Floyd should fight neither imo.

Khan keeps struggling so its going to be easy to discredit that win..and Maidana is tailor made for him.

Whoop Martinez or Bradley (if he beats Pacman) already.
