Re: The Lebanese NT Thread !
South Korea could get knocked out if they lose their last game to Kuwait.

Re: The Lebanese NT Thread !
Kuwait won!!!!!!!
go Kuwait.....
time to overtake Lebanon
but expecting Kuwait to beat South Korea is difficult but if we do we will go through
in truth i felt UAE didnt deserve to even be in the group stages after that game vs India

Re: The Lebanese NT Thread !
We drew 0-0, could have won too. However we parked the bus it must be said.
Well now it becomes a bit complicated. A win at Home against Thailand could be enough to see us through

Re: The Lebanese NT Thread !
Guys.
Read the thread title
Anyway..
We played and won like this vs S. Korea without our 3 key players as well.
I just hope that we can win vs UAE and Kuwait at draw in Korea so we can top the group

Re: The Lebanese NT Thread !
`matchday #5
Lebanon 2 - 1 S.Korea
Kuwait 2 - 1 UAE
`Standing (after matchday#5):
1- S.Korea 10pts ( scored 12 goals, conceded 4/ +8 )
2- Lebanon 10pts (scored 8goals, conceded 10/ -2)
3- Kuwait 8pts ( scored 8goals, conceded 7/ +1)
4- UAE 0pts
`Matchday #6: 29 February 2012
South Korea vs Kuwait
UAE vs Lebanon
So Lebanon just needs 1pt vs UAE to Officialy Qualify to WorldCup 2014 Qualifiers (4th & last round/ Top 10 teams in Asia) for the first time ever in our history.
`Note: Even if we lost vs UAE, a Win/Draw for S.Korea vs Kuwait ==> Lebanon Qualifies!
So Logically we are soooooo close.. but sadly we must wait until 29 February until it becomes official! ( Goooo Lebanon, make us Proud / Big Respect for our players & the german coach Theo Bucker)

haha gd luck for Oman.. u have a gd chance to make it, playing at home against thailand ( note Lebanon played a friendly match vs Thailand for 60minutes in Qatar Camp & won 3-1)..
A win IMO means u'ill make it to 4th round ( Saudi Arabia has a very tough match against Australia Away.. don't think the will win)..
gd luck:)
-----------------
Nshalla Lebanon will qualify to 4th round..
I hope to get this Group:
- Australia - if we're grouped with Australia in the next round, the entire stadium in Sydney will be Lebanese lol
- S.Korea ( we won once so we can do it again )
- Iraq ( already played a friendly against them last week, lost 1-0 from penalty 87' .. they are better team offcourse, but we can beat them..they playerd with first 11, while lebanon plaued without their best 3 players Y.Mohamad, hasan Maatouk & RODA ANTAR!)
- Qatar (we have big number of aboards in Qatar, but our level is not far from them)
vs Qatar & Australia, we might have more fans than the home teams in the stadium lol hahaha

Lebanon, Iraq, and Oman FTW.
(Saudi Arabia and Qatar needs to realize national pride is bigger than wins).

Re: The Lebanese NT Thread !
Thailand can be an easy game.. of course not a walk over.
But considering that Saudi Arabia has to meet Australia (away) so.. you have a 70-30 chance over them

I hope both Saudi and Bahrain get knocked out. Absolutely hate their football teams. Pots like this for next round will be ideal:
Pot 1: Australia, Japan
Pot 2: S.Korea, Iran
Pot 3: Uzbekistan, Iraq
Pot 4: Jordan, Qatar
Pot 5: Oman, Lebanon
Then groups:
A: Australia, Iran, Iraq, Qatar, Oman
B: Japan, Korea, Uzbekistan, Jordan, Lebanon
Pot 1: Australia, Japan
Pot 2: S.Korea, Iran
Pot 3: Uzbekistan, Iraq
Pot 4: Jordan, Qatar
Pot 5: Oman, Lebanon
Then groups:
A: Australia, Iran, Iraq, Qatar, Oman
B: Japan, Korea, Uzbekistan, Jordan, Lebanon
