Re: The Official WWE Thread
Here's an idea I posted on another forum:
Get rid of NXT and make Superstars live on TV.
A. New title, either cruiserweight or a new title called 'WWE Superstars Championship'.
B. The show should also feature storylines and feuds.
C. Make it similar to how Heat or Velocity use to be.
D. People from FCW/new wrestler can debut.
E. The show can be used as a stepping stone to Smackdown or RAW.
F. People who don't usually get time on RAW or Smackdown would be on the show. I know that happens right now, but the same people aren't on superstars every week, therefore there's no solid storylines.
End the brand split:
A. Make RAW 3 hours, first hour would be for the jobbers/Cruiserweights and then it would be normal, a bit like last Monday.
B. On Superstars continue on the jobber/Cruiserweight hour which isn't on Smackdown because it's only 2 hours. The final hour on Superstars would be for new talent and/or something else.
C. Then have Smackdown for 2 hours continuing on the main storylines from the last 2 hours of RAW.

Kingston only helped the crowd's cause lol. The commentators didn't get their chance to talk over this time either.

I was just thinking about Heat the other day and how that show actually meant something. They can definitely use the extra time to accommodate the wrestlers and the feuds, give them a little extra push and background. I'm not sure about 3 hours of Raw every week, I think it's excessive. They just need to make better use of the 2 hours they currently have.
While we may not like the brand split on-air, off-air it really helps them extend to new markets with tours and promotional efforts.

Re: The Official WWE Thread
Of course the 3 hours would be for both RAW and Smackdown Rosters. So you'd have like Orton, Cena, Christian, Sheamus, Barrett, Rhodes, Sin Cara, Rey Mysterio, Miz etc on both shows each week. I don't know about combining the titles though.
Wrestlingforum. I think most WWE/Wrestling fans are on it so you might of heard of it before.

I'm a regular lurker of wrestlingforum. I've considered joining up a few times, but never got around to doing it.
On the 3 hour RAW, I assumed it was to include stars from both shows. I still think it's a stretch, but given the rate of commercials and needless extras we see on RAW these days, it could work I guess. From a company perspective, I don't think they would make it permanent.

Re: The Official WWE Thread
Well with RAW superstars on Smackdown it might improve the ratings. Right now there's like 2 main eventers in WWE, 1 on each show.

I think this post really highlights the points we've been making for a while now. The development of main eventers and big stars is really lacking, especially when we are discussing the end of the brand split and saturating each show with talent.
The company have made some bad decisions in taking on so many wrestlers while not giving a certain group of them the push they should have.

Re: The Official WWE Thread
We need some Y2J back. Versatile, well-established, can get the best out of anyone in the ring. Face or heel, really, either could work.
Then again, all this time I've been thinking that the WWE has three big stars that are a cut above the rest, not just two. Cena, Orton... and CM Punk. Then again, what the hell have they been doing with Punk? If all this leaving thing is serious I'll be really disappointed, as by far he is the best heel on the roster right now, in terms of wrestling ability and mic work. WWE would be a better place just by keeping him.
Also, I do hope they keep R-Truth this way. Even if he still sucks in the ring and on the mic, at least this Little Jimmy thing is amusing.
PS. Does anyone know why the hell that Sin Cara + Daniel Bryan / Rhodes + DiBiase thing was scrapped at Capitol Punishment? Instead we got Swagger vs. Bourne which was, uh... what are they doing with Swagger? (The reason for this though may be these rumors going around that they want Evan Bourne to feature at Money in the Bank, so expect to see more of him these weeks. I wouldn't mind just for the Shooting Star Press.)

Re: The Official WWE Thread
Swagger has pretty much been wasting his time with Bourne and the Michael Cole thing earlier this year. He hasn't progressed since he won the WHC last year.
I wouldn't of minded if he actually stayed in the main event when he won the WHC either. WWE push people then give up on them and then they eventually drop to the mid-card.
One of the reason why most people are looking forward to MITB is probably because they want to see who WWE want to push into the main event.

I was never convinced with Swagger, but I have to agree that he has stagnated in recent months. They need to determine a solid group of stars to push and stick with it.
Will be interesting to see HBK on RAW.

Re: The Official WWE Thread
Funny when you mention Swagger with Cole, at that time I thought Cole would be a perfect mouthpiece for him. Cole would talk, Swagger would wrestle. It'd be like Dolph & Vickie.
Only thing is, Cole was the wrestler, and he STILL did all the talking. So basically they just made Swagger look relevant in a storyline that the WWE were forcing down fans' throats, with not enough ring time.
Money in the Bank will be very interesting this year, especially Smackdown's. They could potentially pass the ball on to Wade Barrett, or Sheamus, even Mark Henry. Another Christian shot at Orton's title wouldn't be too far-fetched, either, though I really don't want to see that. Cody Rhodes too, but apparently they want him and DiBiase to go the route of Miz and Riley eventually, so that Ted still remains relevant. They can even surprise us and push a face up, like Daniel Bryan, but please change his entrance to the old one.
For RAW's, I hope Truth tosses a little jimmy off a ladder. Would be the most interesting thing he's ever done in his entire career.

Randy Orton will probably face Christian again at MITB. I don't think Sheamus needs the MITB. He won the king of the ring and then dropped into the mid-card.
