*I'm not even gonna try and spell his name properly. Marcelo doesnt really deserve to be there, but cant think of anyone else. I thought about making polls for every position for a 'Goallegacy 2010-11 Best XI' like we had done in the old forum for young players, but meh.

replace Marcelo with Lahm or Evra and it's more than decent

Lahm played RB last season didnt he? I didnt watch either of them, and neither got really good reviews that I heard of, so...

I cant understand how people can include Hummels in their eleven..Fair enough he has excelled in the Bundesliga but this is the very first time he will be tested in an elite competition such as the Champions League..He definitely has immense potential but in my opinion he still doesnt warrant a place in the current worlds best eleven..Not to forget he hasnt been tested against the best clubs of the world comprising of the best players..And i dont watch Germany's games so i am not sure if he is first choice for Loew..

Sorry, but Bundesliga is on par with Serie A imo and he has just dominated for over 2 years now. He is by far the best CB in Germany and is an uncontested starter for Germany NT. Having watched him enough, i am completely comfortable putting him amongst the 2 best at this time. Pique was a choice as well; but i prefer Hummels.
