Re: The Music Room
stumbled across this on Youtube somehow, remember my parents listening to this when it was new as a kid in the late 90s.
pretty catchy, seemed like the guys style was ahead of its time, still holds up surprisingly well unlike a lot of music from back then, you wouldn't think it was 20+ year old music

Jamiroquai is great I haven't listened to his music in years, but he's got some really catchy tunes.

my sister and I were obsessed with Outkast back then
there was a period of time when they were on the Music TV channels like 3-4 times an hr. Hey Ya, Sorry ms Jackson, etc.
Think I had the album too. That album was huge.

I don't want to know what kind of bar you went to, to discover that type of music, Hans. Unreasonably inspirational and high budget music video, though

Re: The Music Room
@Robes: I don't know if you already know them, but since you like The Black Angels, you should check Rival Sons, Monster Truck and Royal Blood. They are not exactly the same style, but if you have a soft spot for 70s Rock, those artists will definitely fall agreeably upon your ears.
Here's a taste:
I hope you like them

Re: The Music Room
^ about rock it's psychedelic rock so I am for 60s and not 70s ( ah, happy birthday Grace Slick, the great singer from Jefferson Airplane)
The Black Angels are the group to have rekindled the sacred psychedelic fire (not just them, but they're my favorite ), in a period of musical conformity , and they've the merit to do it with great credibilty.
Unreal for me that they are so underrated.
But that's the psychedelic rock on nowadays, relegated on an underground dimension.
Well, blessed who has the privilege to know them .
Anyway. ...... I will listen them
