Re: The Press Room
FC Barcelona is ceding their Buenos Aires youth development program (FC Barcelona Juniors Lujan) to Boca Juniors

But seriously, like Kizz, im an old school guy who wants an actual book.
When does it come out in book-form, I'm a traditionalist. Preferably soft-back.
100% agreed. I can't read a book electronically. That's ridiculous. I like a book with a nice hard cover otherwise I don't read it.

At first I felt the same way. My friend got a kindle and I told him it was the stupidest thing I'd ever seen, that I liked to hold a book in my hands and physically turn the pages. But soon I'll be working in a really rural part of Latin America where I'll only have access to a bookstore once every 6 weeks when I visit the capital city, and I'll be living out of a backpack so I can't carry a ton of heavy books with me. So buying a tablet that can hold 1000+ books and has a 10 week battery life suddenly sounds like a really, really, good idea (not to mention the fact that you can also torrent GBs of books for free! ).
For better or worse, I think that within the next 10 years most of us will be reading books on tablets. It saves a ton of money from publishing all the way down to the consumer.
Anyway, offer still stands if anyone wants to borrow it! Otherwise buy it in paperback, its a good read.

I have a kindle. Best investment I've ever made. I can't even think of going back to books now, they feel so... primitive.

Really? Books are classic, I hope they are the one thing that never gets old as we move into a technological future.

But they're inconsistent. They're heavy. They sometimes have lettering that is too small, or too big. The pages are sometimes stuck together. My kindle has none of these problems. It's honestly hard to go back to paper.

Looking at a screen for too long isn't good for your eyes either.

Re: The Press Room
but they dont have lcd screens! they're called "electronic paper" displays or something like that, and they're much easier on the eyes. you should pick one up sometime at the store just to play around with it.

Re: The Press Room
To be honest Alfred...I adore the imperfection books have.
I love technology, but books man. The day I sit down and read on a kindle rather than a book is a very sad day.
+ what kizz said lol. I'm building up a collection of my favorite books of all time, adding a book or two each year and by the time I'm 30 I should have at least a nice, small collection of my most favorite books throughout my life.
The simple things that the kindle can't replace. Although my dad loves it he still reads books though. Don't think he'll ever completely switch over.
Books are just. They were there when I was 2...I hope they are there when I am 80. They've always been there. It's partly my inability to move on from that that I'll always hold a place for books in my heart.

I love this picture, probably going to try and make a avatar or sig out of it. But I wish it was in a higher quality.
EDIT: And it became an avatar.

Video makes me miss Villa....man is an animal when on his game.
Some great goals, obviously we can all debate the order, but I dont think its important...just enjoy some great great goals.

Re: The Press Room
Nice video with great quality. I think there is one missing, Iniesta's goal vs. Racing. Awesome linkup with Messi.
Also, I find this best goals compilations too biased towards long shots and freekicks, and not enough towards teamplay goals.
