Yeah right :lol:because Pats who has one of the worst passing defenses in the league only gave up 26 points to the Broncos, but yet the Seahawks have no chance? Manning had all the time in the world, no way he will have this in that game
u watch the game end by the third quarter, and watch that Mickey Mouse clown Sherman in tears at the end of the 4th

I don't want to take this too off-topic, but how are you liking the city.
I was in Central Park today and saw a ton of Seattle fans with their jersey's on and everything. I almost shouted something at a few of them in a playful manner, but I didn't have any back up.

yea Seattle is pretty fun, not the city like what I had first imagined like a big city but nevertheless people are friendly. yea When it comes to Seahawks game people are nuts here, just today I was on my way to Lunch, grannies were wearing sherman jerseys lol. Today, pretty much 60-70% i have seen around on my way to lunch were wearing seahawks kit. just shows how big this game is for us people from Seattle, and the anticipation is super big for tomorrow's game.
last year, Falcon beat us at this same time, but this time around I am hoping a different game.
you rooting for Denver???
NFL has still yet to sink in completely but i am loving it... at this point i dont care which team but every time I have seen teams play, its been a pretty beastly - passionate sport!! i love it.
so i am hearing Denver is a killer when it comes to offense and Seattle Seahawks are killer when it comes to defense. Their quarterback is playing really great, but Russel Wilson has dropped his form a bit but I still think he will be on his best tomorrow. Cmon Wilson!!!!
so yea i dont know how to say this, but i think it would be pretty tight close game.

Re: NFL Thread
I got the Broncos 27-24
Think Manning will be able to move the ball against them. Andrew Luck did well against them away from Century and to take it a step further, so did Matt Schaub.
In Seattle, I'd take the Hawks. Neutral field, I got Denver.

Re: NFL Thread
I'm not rooting for either team, I have reasons to be happy with whoever wins it. I used to be a big Colts fan (the Denver quarterback used to play for them) and I just generally like what Seattle seems to be about. A few of my favorite artists grew up in Seattle, which is one of the reasons I asked how you liked it. I'm glad you're enjoying your time there.
Football seems to be pretty big in the U.S. no matter what state you're in. It wasn't a good year for New York football, but everyone here usually attends (or throws) a get together for the Super Bowl. Sadly I no longer have cable and won't be able to watch the game (I just can't bother with streaming American sports - too many commercials.)
P.S. For the record, I don't support any NFL teams.

@dmize, yeah he was all like, "No, I'm pretty certain that Patriots are playing...Brady beat Manning" or something along those lines. I personally loved the lady's reaction to him insisting on being right.

you got me on that.!
seahawks are great at home, but uncertain at away .. so.. yea im nervous regarding that.
plus manning according to even my own die hard seahakws buddy saying , that he has been in form of his life, but we are confident that our defense will be able to make life tough for him.

i thought its on the air free right? i know commercials sucks but thats them playing a lot for the game so.
oh yea i heard that manning has won with colts. and colts are pretty good team, they beat seattle. my main support from seattle not just comes from me being here but also the fact that pete caroll is doing something great and we have a young talented team.
favourite artist? you mean hendrix??/ or kurt cobain?

Re: NFL Thread
I didn't know either were from Seattle, I am more knowledgable with hip-hop mostly underground artists. Blue Scholars (Common Market), SOL, Grieves, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis and Tom Pepe (from the group Knowmads). Over the years I've learned that Seattle seems to have a lot of musical elements (couldn't think of a better word).

Def a last place team schedule. I think we can get 7 or 8 wins this year...

Re: NFL Thread
Looking forward to this season, the addition of Revis and Browner, should make our defense top 3, if we don't get any injuries. Always great adding a top 3 corner (def best shutdown corner). The defense was great until Mayo and Wilfork went down. The backfield of Mccourty-Revis-Browner-Harmon and Dennard, Logan Ryan and Arrington as NBs is amazing.

Re: NFL Thread
Can't believe the Bills got Watkins, I knew the Jets probably weren't getting him but I didn't want him in our division.
Knowing Buffalo he'll probably bust though
also good luck going over the middle with this guy now:
