both are fantasic.. I might even rate Rooney higher than anybody on this forum. He is just playing phenomenal right now..

That being said I also rate CR7 the highest Very Happy

he takes it for me.. hes numbers speak for themselves..

and at united you could cleardly see who the dominant was. Yes Rooney might be a more polished diamond now than he was two/three years ago. But he needs to show more conistansy aswell as score more goals to come on messi/ronaldo level

Winning the copa after spending 300 million plus on new players is a fail. And not beating an unfit Barca side with a fully fit RM squad is a fail. Ronaldo scoring how many plus gola to win the pichici after RM had lost the league is a fail. Ronaldo faling to contribute anything worthwhile apart from his tap ins is a fail. Rooney just has a few "top matches", a few "average matches" and then just sulks on and off for the rest of the season(in no order).

He lacks consistency imo, but similar to players like Bale etc when he is on he is ON but otherwise is overhyped.

That said, he's made a great start to the season so he may prove me wrong this season Smile
