Re: Nasri to Sevilla- Official
24m!!!!!!!!!
wonderful. some of you guys' opinions on nasri are way off. someone said he looked like arsenal's future talisman.... lol ok. then whoever posted city's lineup with nasri in the middle..... wow. nasri is sh1t in the middle. silva goes in the middle and nasri out wide.
anyways dont think im bitter. just pointing out how ill-informed some of you are. plus 24m for someone in the last year of their deal who isnt world class. amazing piece of business

Re: Nasri to Sevilla- Official
They're allowed up to 25 players. So it's not like Man City needs to sell a ton... but they should move a few players.

Nasri goes wide left or right... he's been a complete failure as a AM for France NT. No vision.

Re: Nasri to Sevilla- Official
Idk why people are harping on these diagrams, if these past two fixtures have shown us, Manchester City is unbelievably fluid in the final third, they are all interchangeable parts. We'll see Nasri pop up on the left, right, and middle.

Probably but Gutierrez works harder and besides we have more than 5 people who can play in wide areas or are natural there....
I said i would'nt take him and stand by it whats the point in spending silly wages on a player who is'nt much better than our back up wingers especially when CF and LB are much more pressing issues....
As is CB aswell but the manager does'nt want a CB so that is'nt even worth discussing really.

Fit Bellamy would be an excellent signing for Newcastle from that list

HBA is out, what, another month or so? I have a hard time thinking Newcastle couldn't use Bellamy or SWP in one way or another until his return at least.

So, here I wake up every day dreaming of signings and I'm met with even more of our players leaving? How wonderful.
I'm expecting some last transfer day drama.

We dont need midfielders simple as really we have one of the strongest midfields outside the top 6....
Not to mention thier wages are insane, Bellamy fit and young would be a good signing but facts are he's injury prone, 30+ and past it.....
What we need is a LB, CB(This wont happen though unfortunately) and a CF( Who is quick , good movement off the ball and decent finisher)....
This is why none of those players i would want not to mention the fact they have insane wages but also that they are simply not needed.

Re: Nasri to Sevilla- Official
People need to be clear here. Nasri asked Arsenal for 120k/week wages and he would've signed an extension. Arsenal said no (would screw up their wage table). Also, Nasri let it be known that he might bring his wage demands down if the club made signings to truly contend... that didn't happen either.
This was about money and trophies. Not defending or condemning Nasri. But i have to admit that the facts are more damning for the Arsenal board than Nasri himself.

Midfielders, when i clearly said midfielders are not needed
Arbeloa and Higuian while you pay the wages and give them for free would be good though

Why not bridge for the LB?

He's overrated and crap and wants 90k a week our top 2 choices are Pieters from PSV and Cissokho from Lyon i personally think Cissokho's price tag will mean we will get Pieters.

lol @ this stat:P
49% - Arsenal's PL win percentage with Samir Nasri starting is well below the 62% win rate for the Gunners in his absence. (optasports)

I wonder how Arsenal missed on Sahin. Didn't they foresee the departures? It would have been a perfect Fabregas replacement for what people says (I've barely watched him).
